  1. After reading the thread about the whole phil ivey golf hustling incident i went and read ram's response. I noticed that no one else responded to the fact that ram called DN's integrity into question, as did Antonius, and accused him of cheating at PL omaha by dealing himself an extra card.I just don't see DN doing this. Seems like an honest and decent guy to me. Anyone else out there with me?
Lol... I'm not sure what to even say to this.
  2. you making the assumption that the o.p. is a "librul" or that other "libruls" feel the same way is what makes people hate conservatives.
I seriously think you have a program running on your computer that lets you know everytime there is a post with the keyword "liberal" in it. But if you don't, maybe you should?
  3. Then what is the real problem? I think allowing someone to go to the corner and buy a gun makes it too simple to kill someone. You could argue that without guns you could stab me with a fork and still kill me, but atleast I have a fighting chance to survive the attack and I think that's what matters most.
I agree, and I'm not in any way saying that people should have easy access to guns.I believe that a simple gun ban would not do anything to actually limit the amout of violence in our society. I'm not even convinced that a gun ban would even limit the amount of guns on the street. It would just make it harder for your average person to obtain one because you couldn't go to wal mart and buy one anymore. As far as the problem, i'm not really sure. There is an obvious problem in our society related to violence, but identifying and solving the problem I am clueless how to do. Maybe it's in human nature to be violent, I don't know. I just know that I am not a violent person and there must be a reason why I am not while other certainly are.
  4. In my mind, the issue of gun control is fairly simple. In a perfect world, we could outlaw guns, everyone would get rid of their guns and / or stop obtaining them, and then bam... No more guns. It's obviously not a perfect world, and even if it was, what does gun control solve? People were being murdered long before guns were invented, and even if guns were eliminated other methods of killing would soon arrise. Hell, with technology at the point that it is BETTER forms of killing might even come about. We can't treat the symptoms of a larger underlying problem by eliminating one form of violence. It doesn't make sense, and I really can't see how anyone can argue that banning guns would solve anything. Violence is violence, and weapons are weapons. I can think of a thousand different ways I could hurt and/or kill someone if I wanted to, the thing is, I don't want to hurt anyone. And the first thing we need to figure out is why these people want to hurt others, period. Let's stop playing the blame game and fix the real problem.

  5. ok, posted the same question in a honda chat forum and was told that is cv joints.
I HIGHLY doubt that... if your CV's were rubbing the noise would be a lot more constant. But thats just my .02. When CV's dry up or start to wear the noise you end up with is a constant squealing anytime the suspension moves. It doesn't come and go either, it just stays there. I'm telling you, without getting it checked out we can sit here all day and speculate.
  6. It could be any number of things in the suspension, or perhaps the rear sway bar. You need to either check it out yourself, or take it to a mechanic. There are two many possible parts that could cause a knocking, espcially going over bumps and turns.

  7. You know, it's funny how every time i'm trapped on the train tracks with a train coming towards me, I always seem to find a hatchet on the ground next to me. Rarely am I blessed by such fortune.

  8. Sorry about that new poster. Hi, how are you? I'm Ron. What brings you to town? Business or pleasure? Because pleasure is my business
    irony isn't even the word
  9. what does diversity have to do with you grouping gays as a different class human? Thats basically what it sounds like. and having the "right to have opinions"... wtf? u can have an opinion even if its against the law, no one can ever stop someone from an opinion. Your views are skewed by what you readso if we dont take heart to peoples feelings what do we resort too? A boars head on a stick? If some crazy guy on the corner of the street started talking smack about homosexuals no one would care much, Its the fact that Hardaway is in the spotlight, is in the media, gets paid boat loads, and is looked up too, and admire by lots of kids. STFU and stay positive. If you cant do that, get out of the spotlight.I noticed you said gay straight blue or purple... why didnt you say gay straight chinese or black? Maybe because if it was a white man saying he hates blacks, he'd be cast into the shadows of michael richards. Now is that terrible and wrong?
Why mention blacks? That's no different than saying I hate candians because they are canadian. I'm tired of all this racial bullshit. People are people. Skin color, origin, place of birth, hair color, penal insertion preferences, etc... SHOULDN"T FUCKING MATTER.
  10. He has a right to hate whoever he wants, whether they are gay, straight, blue, or purple. Why are his views autmatically considered terrible and wrong?Seriously, stop whining everyone. You disagree, fine. But when you start hating him for his views you just became exactly what you hated in the first place.

  11. I didnt read every post so I'm not sure if this has been said. As a lineman you only need to give your quarterback 3-5 seconds to throw the ball depending on the drop he has. Now in almost every instance Troy got sacked, he had plenty of time to throw the ball away. I'm not saying the line did there job every play but for the most part he made them look bad. The defense disappointed me too. They didnt play good at all until the second half even then it was cause Florida slowed the game down by running the ball more. WOW. Its hard to believe that was the same team that played this year.
This is usually true, but when all your recievers are covered up downfield, it changes things. Also, once he got nailed by a safety a few times who came unblocked (alex boone has been doing this all year), he started paying too much attention to what was going on in the pocket instead of looking downfield. What really hurt Troy was the loss of his passing lanes when he broke out of the pocket. In all the games previous to this one he was able to run away, turn, and throw the ball downfield. But the florida DE's were so fast, that by the time he went outisde, he was covered up (or on the ground).
  12. 4-14 35 yards 1 INTGinn would've made a difference, but I still thnk they lose, maybe even big.
I agree. I think we could have had 14 guys on the line and still would not have been able to block floridas front four. They were amazing.
  13. I'm sorry, is FSU any good at all this year... no they aren't. The SEC as a whole does not schedule anyone tough OOC, Arkansas did one game and got smoked, Tenn beat a decent Cal team. That doesn't make them the best conference on football. When was the last time OSU won a title.. 2001, Michigan in 97, so your jokes about the 50's are retarded.
I'm loyal to the Big10 as much as the next guy, but come on. Arguing that SEC teams don't play a tough OOC schedule proves nothing. It's the tough conference games that make the SEC tough. Just like the Big10 (with exception to the past few years) the SEC prides itself on a having a strong conference while having multiple teams capable of competing for national championships. The Big10 has been doing it longer, but the SEC is here to stay (imo).
  14. Ok, a couple things.1) It's Ohio State, not Ohio. It's like saying Michigan instead of Michigan State.... They are two completely different universities. Just wanted to clear that up.2) The better team won the game, without question. That was the most impressive defensive performance I have ever seen by a football team. Complete and total domination on the line, in the middle, downfield, ... everywhere.3) I am a buckeye and the loss hurts, but don't overlook the great season we had just to get to the championship.4) The SEC is the best conference this year. Period. But that's not to say that Florida didn't have to play it's best to win, because they did. And in fact, they played better than they had played all season. I think they played one of the best games in the history of college football, imo. With the emotion and intensity they brought on to that field i'm not sure if any team could have beat them, ever. The defense was lights out from the very start. The offense had SOO many plays cooked up to confuse any other defense on the field. Too many playmakers. Too much emotion. It was impressive, to say the least.5) What the F*#$ is up with the OSU offensive line. They couldn't block anyone. The two DE's from florida put on a clinic on how speed > strength on the outside.6) Troy smith looked awful, and for multiple reasons. With as much pressure as Florida was getting in the pocket, why was Antonio Pittman not getting the ball more (in the first half)? Why did we not send Beanie up the gut to pull pressure away from Troy Smith? Answer: We were outcoached. Urban Meyer came with a great gameplan and it worked. We came with a bad one and we stuck to it even though it WASN'T working. Terrible performance and preparation by the coaching staff, imo.7) Great game florida, you deserved the National Championship this year. That is all.
