  2. there is a goggle man (Yep...a guy wearing ski goggles)....a guy wearing a bunny suit......a guy wearing a clown suit....and a guy wearing a full donkey suit....I'm not even at the main event and I'm on TILT
  3. on the opposite side of this thread .... how absolutly awful would it be if ted lawson won it... i would even be censored if he made the final table. If he wins they'll probably change the rules so that you can make a straight with only 4 cards
  4. OK... I understand both of them, but...I think that POT EQUITY plays a much bigger role than IMPLIED ODDS does in LHE, and the opposite goes for NL.Anyone agree? The only time I can see POT EQUITY being that imporant in NL is in tournaments and cash games when you are short stacked. The reasson i feel this wayis because I will liberally raise pocket tens in LHE, and I might raise them in NL, but a reraise in NL is so much worse than a reraise in LHE....Just random thoughts...
  5. The reason is the fact that I play online for about 5 hrs a day.I had let a friend of mine borrow my iPod for about 3 months, and just got it back from him.Usually when I play I watch music videos, or ESPN.Lately though, all I do is listen to my iPod. I have 7 days of music on it, so it never really gets old. I've noticed that this puts me in the zone more. I think I'm much more focused on my game.I'm only 20, but my friends that go to the casino always make fun of some of the old people they saw there.I'm sure that if I went to the casino I'd be there for 12+ hrs. It's not like I'd have the
  6. About 75,000 more hands and we'll be looking at something of value. I just hope I live to see that many hands
  7. Are you allowed to listen to your iPod's while you play at B&M's, or do they frown upon that?TY,Lando
  8. I use the download client, but the only reason I do is because they have the stats option that I started the thread with
  9. Does pokertracker even work at pokerroom.com?
  10. I know this might be a small sample size, but I've just finished my 1st 2500 hands at the .5-1 limit tables and here are my results.Fold percentages: preflop - 78%flop - 8%Turn - 3%river - 1%Round:Saw the flop - 21%went to the river after seeing the flop - 39%folded to a river bet - 36%showdowns won - 61%Outcome:Pots won - 158pots split - 12pots lost - 2358Total won/lost - +64.50Hands played - 2528I know this is only 2500 hands rather than 10,000.I was just wondering if anyone could tell anything about my game by these stats alone, or can see some areas i need improvement on.Thanks,Lando
  11. I decided to start playing limit with my copy of SSHE by my side at all times. I play the TIGHT GAME starting hand requirements, and the reason is that the flop percentages at the tables I play range between 40-54% Is this correct? The reason I'm second guessing myself is because Sklansky says you should consider the game loose until proven otherwise. Well isn't looking at the flop percentage proof enough?BTW, I think in Getting started in Hold'em by Miller, he has different starting hands for a tight game. Does anyone have an opinion on whose recommendations are better?[maybe they're the s
  12. Wayne Gretzky is the "Michael Jordan" of hockey
  13. You called 2 Pac a clown and you talked about Jay-Z? Diddy used to dance on stage, the LOX used to wear those "shiny suits." That's what was hot in NY at the time. There's a picture they show of Pac every once in a while that shows him wearing tights. You'll never see pics like that of Jigga or Jada. Their wordplay ss disgusting. It's on such a different level of rap. I have numerous friends who used to bash me for liking Jay, and outta nowhere they start liking him. I ask em why and they'll talk about some sick lines he says in a song. What so many people don't understand is that he's b
  14. Canadian rap? :wall: Please tell me this isn't true
  15. But how can nobody mention the greatest rapper of all-time? And if you say that I am wrong...then you are an idiot. 2PAC.....nuff said. Ok... people seem to like himBut the greatest rapper of all time is Jay-Z. NO QUESTION. HE IS THE MICHAEL JORDAN OF RAP. Best flow, realist stories, most charisma, he sets the most trends etc. He's the total friggin package.Notice I said RAPPER.I consider Jay-Z, G-Unit, Nelly, Eminem, Jadakiss as rap.I think that J5, Black eyed peas etc. should be considered HIPHOP. The beats for J5 and other types of hip hop are so similair. I can hear a j5 beat and know tha
  16. What's a good SNG winrate? I decided to play 10 SNG's today at the 10+1 level. I've played 8 so far, won 2 and placed second in another. So even if I don't place in the next 2 I'll be ahead $20 for the day, but I really want to cash in at least one more.I'm sure someone will disagree with me about this, but I've noticed that it's really a crap shoot once you make the money unless you have a major chip lead. Just my thoughts.I'm pretty good heads up, I move allin preflop with good hands, (hoping my opponent will figure I'm on a bluff ) and I raise with marginal hands, incase I'm reraised I c
  17. How many entry fees should you have to play Sit N Go's?Thanx
  18. FN right doggy! I had an emachines laptop, but it seized by the DEA. Hopefully I'll get it back, but I LOVED it. No problems what so ever, except the model that I had had a recall if I'm correct because the right hinge piece would slightly crack (it was a small cosmetic flaw that occured from opening and closing too many times). I guess this happened to a TON of them. The cracks aren't so bad that the screen will fall off or anything, it's really no thicker than a thread. You can find them cheap as hell on ebay, I think most of them have the crack. What else is weird is that I think Gateway
  19. I just took a look at the poll results, and realized that 40% of FCP forum members are without a doubt braindead.actually that number is probably more like 37%Don't try to give me that shit like "at least I took a shot." That would be such a nieve thing to say. Maybe if you're a multimillionare already or something I can understand, but get realistic and be honest with yourself.ONE MILLION DOLLARS!22.2 lbs OF MONEY!ARE YOU FRIGGIN INSANE?If I walked into a room and was given the choice of leaving with a suitcase full of money, or playing Phil heads-up for 100mil at a table in the corn
  20. :wall: If money means ANYTHING to you, take the money and bounce. I mean, yea if you won, you'd be 100mil richer and it'd be the greatest stories ever, but more likely than not your new found claim would simply be "the moron who really thought he was gonna beat phil ivey."Do the right thing...Try not to suck at life.Would you play around the world with Robert Horry for 100mil?I honestly think that would be more +ev than playing Ivey.Phil has the skills to get inside anyone's head and pick their brain apart with a phucking pitchfork.I think aces and kings says something about him like...And w
  21. Anyway congrats man but I wouldn't go around telling many people that you are 16. I mean I know there probably isn't someone a dick enough to report you but If you just happened to censored off the wrong person at the wrong time in this forum, it could happen.I already did report
  22. I don't know if you suck at poker, but it's obvious to anyone with a right eye that you suck at life.Get off smash's d.ick. If you don't like what he says, either fight him or shut up. Considering you probably don't know where he stays... SHUT UP!
  23. In response to this thread...I think a famous rapper once said, "YOU DONT HAVE TO LIE TO KICK IT"Now it all makes sense.
  24. Golf is NOT a sport. Golf is simply baseball without defense.I personally think that tournament poker is a sport without a doubt, but I can't really see how you could consider cash games a sport. In a tournament you are forced to play long hours and just as a track star gets worn out, you too get phisically worn, but usually you feel tired mentally. In comparison to cash games where you can get up whenever you'd like to.But in my own opinion, cash games prove who is trully skilled
