which is subjective (i used the right word, aren't you proud )As you already know, this same debate hapens about every 4 or 5 months and nothign ever really changes. It's an internet forum and there really isn't much you can do to force people to be productive and contributing members. But in my opinion that's OK. I like it here and I am willing to accpet the good with the bad.

After rereading my post I want to replace "moderator" with forum administration in general. I don't want my post to be misconstrued as an insult to the moderators. As a whole I think they do a good job.Also, I do not agree with all the referneces to "members that post content" should get away with more. My objection to that it is to objective. There is no way to judge what is content and what isn't. In conclusion what this all comes down to is that unless the moderators are gonna start holding forum veterans to the rules, we can't expect the new posters to follow the rules. So we either gotta start behaving ourselves or put up with it. You can't have it both ways. There should be one set of rules for eveyone to follow.

I think the problem here in the General Forum is directly related to the behavior of the Veterans. I think a double standard has been set that even I have been guilty of. When newer people to the forum begin reading our posts and seeing how we interact with one another they think certain behavior is acceptable. When they then emulate our behavior we say they are out of line. Now whose fault is that? It’s like when a child repeats the behavior of their parents.
