fold for sure, but I don't even pot this on the flop. Others might argue, but I chek fold the flop(too many other hands hit this flop better than you).

more than likely

just another hand... IMO, it looks better than it plays.

I don't bet that turn, a scare card hit (straight). I check call there, that lessens the raise that you have to call on 4th street, which you were right in calling - but it could have been cheaper. Check fold is good when you don't fill up at the river. I don't bluff the bare ace there, not until I am established as a nut peddler... if that even ever happens. There are too many people calling with non-nuts(that beat your hand) to justify making a play here IMO.

I hate that your hand isn't suited, but that is of little consequence here. This is one of those hands that all-in preflop is not wrong and not making the final reraise preflop is wrong(IMO).Say you put half your stack in preflop, what flops do you fold to? I can't think of any, so just get it in when you have the best of it. The only hand that has you beat here is something like AAJT double suited, or something similar, almost everything else you have beat. If you don't like to push small edges then don't raise preflop, that is where the edges are the smallest.

Versus AAKK ds not in your suits you are a losing 60/40.(we both know he doesn't have this, but he could.)Versus AA32 ds not in your suit you are a 53% favorite.Any other pair of aces between those 2 hands you are in between those odds. How much gamble do you have in you? That will decide it. Your hand is awesome preflop, but is it big enough to go all in? It's not like you would be dominating him if he was steaming and he reraised with junk either, best you'd be is 60/40 or so if he had nothing. The risks you are willing to take are on you to decide. You are not a big dog to any hand re

by the time it gets to the turn you are priced in for the call, it is just one bet and all you need is a non-pair club. You must call. Plus a non club K gives you the nut straight, to consider folding here for one bet is a hug mistake.

you hit a 2 outer, and still could have been behind.I don't bet the flop, I doubt I even check call here with the overpair. But it worked out.

This sounds good dank. Your strategy will work in the long run. One thing I decided on, for my strategy, goes like this. (history... playing PLO I get up to $250 in my account(starting with 25$). Usually I would withdraw everytime I was up $100(what I did when I played Hold 'em). So at 150 or 200 I would take out 100( I did this once at PLO too, took out $100 profit). I'd be back at 100 and keep playing .10/.25 PLO. Well at 250 I thought I would move up, went bust in one night playing first .25/.50 and .50/1.00 and then 1.00/2.00 to get it back - major tilt/bad play involved) Well afte

another way of putting it, your hand is a powerful drawing hand.... that is it!but you need to avoid made hands, of which there are too many possibilities of made hands out there.

hmmm. Well you were raised by an awful hand preflop(nevermind - O 8/B). I don't mind your raise or your call here preflop. The flop, however, spells trouble. Yes you have top set but what beats you? Any QJ, could he have played AKQJ or some permutation with QJ the same way? Any flush, how about Ac, 2c, Ah, Th... yes he could have. What else beats you? 2c, 3c, 9h, Ad. Any flush has you beat on the flop.If you are going to raise this preflop and he reraised you, you can only be worried about 1 hand... AAxx. If you don't think he/she has it then you have to re-re-raise. I see the tourn

yeah, that is basically what my post above confirms... anyways, how did this hand end up?

ooh, that sucked.AA runs into KK.Flop K43. 88% of the money gets in on the flop(12% preflop). I almost felt that he had KK, but there is little chance of getting away from that, too many other options. But he got crazy lucky with that flop. You get em next time. -

you have a great table. There is only 1 other big stack and he is playing passively as the SB in your BB.Remember if you want your raises respected then show a few premium hands and if you don't then show some junk. Take this one down.2nd with 17 remaining(in the money) -

since it will be 400-800 you have 51 BB's now. 10 of the remaining 21 have less than 12 BB's. Pick your spots, and don't be afraid to fold getting decent pot odds if you know your beat, keep it for a later hand. -

best hand Preflop held up?? or bets hand on the flop? just curious teneightc'mon man, its obvious. If he calls all in with the best hand on the flop then I mean he had the best hand on the flop. And greg, you have 70 BB's now. Don't worry one bit til your nearing 10-20BB's. Pick your spots, keep playing like you are, get your money in with the best of it... that is all you can do. -

he is in 2nd now with 23 left. ... top 20 pay.come rail, see if he can make another final table.got to second by seeing a flop with the huge stack. KQJ flop, the big stack raised greg's bet on the flop, he put him all in, greg had KQ and called, other guy had aces. Best hand held up.
