  1. i know Mike M.'s there and Neverwin. Anyone else know any of the other guys - any pros?
  2. 1. Putting a bad beat on someone 2. calling a bluff with bottom pair
  3. he's the most feared player right now - bar none. Every pro talks about how good he is and how scary he is to have at a tournament table. He also gets a ton of props from guys like Chip Reese and Doyle.... He is the best.
  4. You just got unlucky - a good player would lay that ace hand down. That's the problem with playing the $5 sit and go's. If you can take the suck outs every once in a while then you're okay and should make money in the long run.
  5. you seriously want this stuff? I can see the hat (maybe), but the shades...?
  6. the gay response had me rolling - mike's awesome.
  7. Streaky? in what way? like they give you bad cards for awhile and then they give you a streak of good cards??I would say that you are a streaky player, the site just happens to be the engine which shows you how streaky you are.
  8. good luck - it'd be pretty cool if you won it.
  9. No faith in me, eh? I'll show you....Seriously though, is the blind structure the same in MTT's as it is in SnG's? If it is, this is really going to help me. I'm good with slow blind structures.aight, i'll watch for you... If you're out early then make sure you stick around to take some abuse from me (the railbird who didn't play.... haha).
  10. i told chuck that i can't make it home by 9est, but i'll railbird it when i get home. I predict Suited heads up v. zim. Looking forward to the smack.
  11. pot odds are not a factor here.
  12. Folding here is weak/tight. Calling here is pretty weak but it's in line with some people's style. I'd rather not give the big stack a chance to hit a monster cheaply.Folding here is not an option.
  13. I recommend Poker Analyst at cardplayer.com - it's free and very well done. Although it doesn't track your hand history like Pokertracker, it is the best tool for money management I feel.
  14. folding here is terrible because it is quite possible that both of these guys are holding high ace hands like AK or AQ - or any other pocket pair. If they both hold solitary aces then they only have 2 outs (not including flush and straight cards) - if they have an underpair which is also very possible then you're still dominating them. YOU MUST MOVE IN.
  15. ripping the site is classic - everyone does it so he could be flamed for that. But i don't think he should be called an idiot because he doesn't know the game.... isn't this forum supposed to be about improving? I'm almost positive that even when some of us learned the game we still made mistakes occasionally while playing... so cool off.
  16. haha - i knew your response would be good.
  17. it's pretty good - it was, after all, created by a professional card playing family...
  18. has anyone who already played for money tried setting up a new account to get this free money? how did it work for you?
  19. This should be in the "you know you're playing a fish when...." Classic.
  20. Biggest Cash game cash is $620 playing 1-2 NL at the MGM.Biggest Tourney cash was $3540 for 1st in a 165 man $25 w/rebuys tourney at RiverRock Casino.
  21. How many of you use Poker Analyst at cardplayer.com? I find it very good for tracking your actual proftis/loses and giving you a pretty acurate picture of how you're doing in terms of tournament buy in's and cash game results.
  22. Use Poker Analyst at cardplayer.com - it's pretty good for keeping track of cash games and tournaments. It allows you to see what your hourly rate would be and automatically subtracts your tournament buy in from your winnings so it doesn't show a false profit.
