lol my thoughts exactly on Jacob.I've been a fan of Haley and Scotty for awhile. Lauren is starting to gain some confidence and I liked her more last night than previous performances. I'm really not that big of a fan of Durbin.Durbin - This song kind of sucks. Oh wait, he's screaming! Oh my god, I totally didn't see that coming!Jacob - For fuck's sake.Lauren - She seemed like she sang it really well; I didn't care for the song.Scotty - I thought he was really good. He still does those creepy Scotty things with his face, but otherwise I quite enjoyed it.Haley - Do the judges not like Jimmy? Sometimes feels like they go out of their way to make it seem like he doesn't know what he's doing. I thought the song worked well for her. She was kind of hot too; I don't remember thinking that about her before. She was throwing some serious "fuck you" looks at the judges too.Durbin - I think he's a good singer; I wish he didn't scream so much.Jacob - Enough already.Lauren - I liked it. Apparently we've hit the "we're running out of time so don't talk too much" portion of the show.Scotty - I liked it.Haley - I liked it. She really has improved a lot. Is she more confident? More comfortable? There's something sexier about her tonight.I can't imagine a world in which Jacob doesn't go home tonight.After that, I wouldn't be shocked at any ordering of the final four. -
Oh?Is Philip really playing Rob like he claims? It sure is starting to look like it. If it turns out it was all an act, I give a lot of credit to the producers for letting it play out like that in editing, and to Philip for pulling it off. Can you imagine him coming to the final tribal and saying :"Hi, I bet you think I'm the crazy one. Well, guess what. I just pwned Rob ten times over. I got the best player in Survivor history to drag me into a position to come up here and tell you all how foolish I made him look. You want to see me crazy? OK, here's crazy Philip......[crazy speech]..... you want to see the real me? Russell's cut throat. He would've definitely have tried to sway someone.-Rob is running this like Russell would have, except without showing his ego/cockiness to the tribe. He only show his ego when it's just him and the camera.-I think it's still just a bit too early to make a move right now. The Zapatera tribe HAS to be whittled down more so that anyone from the Ometepe tribe has a chance against Rob. The people with Ometepe want to assure themselves that they go deep.-I am still rooting for Rob to win.-Someone mentioned in this thread that there is a reason that Rob has never won Survivor. In his first season, he was on a tribe with a bunch of morons from what I remember. The season he came in second to Amber, I don't think Rob should've lost, just like Russell shouldn't have lost in Samoa.

Casey wasn't all that. He was just different to what most of America is used to listening to. And that's what made him unique, just like Taylor Hicks was unique.Taylor Hicks was "unique" in the way a mentally-challenged child is "special". -

Anyone think that the last remaining person at Redemption will make it into final 3 or 4? I'm pretty sure there will be a double elimination at Redemption, no way they can just eliminate 1 person.

lol I just thought it was dumb that they even went after Rob. They should've gone after Philip, Grant or Andrea.Also, I wonder if they realize how much they actually needed Russell. It’s annoying for those that have read the books, to read your (asinine) sweeping proclamations about the story, when you haven’t actually READ THE BOOKS. Go ahead and read them, and then contribute something of substance.

Watched the show, I enjoyed it. The one thing I wonder is "why are some of these singers missing from Idol?" I know that a few them are too old. Did these people just not try out for Idol? Makes you wonder how many good singers are out there who are not on these shows.

I guess I'm just really bored with Philip, and frustrated with how nobody is attempting to fight off Rob. I like Rob, I just can't believe how his alliance can't see that he is owning right now. Regardless of how much 2nd and 3rd place get, for me it would be horrible to go into the final 3 knowing that I'm going to lose. I figure at some point someone is going to finally say "hey we can't beat Rob at the end, lets do something!" But how many weeks are we going to have to wait for someone to do that? -
I think this spot had a lot to do with how Dwan played a hand earlier vs. Baldwin when he had QQ. Dwan was OOP and led out on the flop and Baldwin called, Dwan led turn and Baldwin called, river was an Ace and Dwan checked. Dwan had some missed draws, I think. But I do think the last hand went down the way it did because of that QQ hand vs Dwan. I could be wrong tho.

The bolded is a huge positive for these.It's not like having a dealer but it's still live poker. You still get to sit with other players so the interaction with them is the same. I would prefer a dealer but I can play on a electronic table 20 min away as compared to live 2 hours away. Once you get used to them they're OK.With no dealer the game is faster and you never get screwed by dealer mistakes or have to tip. It also attracts new players who are used to slot machines and are generally easy pickin's.YMMV -
Anyone think that the reason they sound so much better or are not as pitchy this season compared to others is because of the help that Marc Anthony gave them with those ear buds? I think he mentioned that in previous years no one has ever helped the contestants with the ear buds. They didn't know how to use them. So helped them out with them to how they wanted their earbuds to work. IDK how they work, but it seems since then it has helped the contestants not sound pitchy.

Finally someone else that likes Scott. I don't know why people are so down on him in this thread. Is it because it's country? IDK, I think he'll really make it far in this show. Also, I guess I'm one of the few that really doesn't like James. My favorites in this are Scotty and Haley.I'll take James and Scott. Booked for 100?
