  1. you raise 8xbb preflop, then push 5k into an 875 pot?Nice play...
  2. I really hope when this comes out as a joke, royal tour is part of it. I used to think his posts were fairly sensible till this thread
  3. Absolutepoker gave me $10 to start with, currently got BR of 4k, cashed out 6k.
  4. urgh i really really think calling is bad.If he has AA, your going broke here regardless, thats poker. If he has something like AK/AQ, if he hits an ace, it happens, but ALL the flops where he misses, you'll bet and he folds - whereas allin preflop you get all his chips. If he has QQ-99 and the flop has an ace, or a king he probably folds, whereas preflop he goes allin.By just calling your playing really weak (scared of 3 aces?) and letting him hit his hand before he gets all his chips in, and letting him get away from a missed flop.Just push preflop, i honestly cannot see any reason not to, if
  5. This is horrible advice. Why would you want to smooth call here? Say he has TT, JJ, QQ etc and an ace folds, you bet he folds, or you play stupidly weak and let him bluf you. If you move allin preflop, he calls and you nearly triple upi honestly cannot see any reason to suggest any move other than allin here - him calling with AK, AQ is a reason to push, not to call.
  6. always instant rebuy at start - why WOULDNT you want twice as many chips?Play to gain chips, don't be scared of losing your chips - if you cant afford to rebuy, you probably shouldnt be playing rebuys.I don't see any reason NOT to addon unless the addon is 10% or less than your stack, even still i pretty much always addon.I play the rebuys @ absolute, and some nights i dont need to rebuy other than my one at start, some nights i rebuy lots - all depends on how the cards are treating me :)Generally the players who sit and wait patiently for a monster don't always get paid off, and its clearly n
  7. you could have posted a much better picture of jennicide than that !
  8. it depends on the raise, how it was played etc. If i get raised by someone i know is horribly tight, i'll call in position with hands like this knowing if i flop a monster, it will be paid off. Just earlier today i was at a final table NL holdem, and a total rock raised preflop, which basically meant AA or KK. Stacks were so deep compared to blinds i called with 42s on the button. If i miss the flop, easy fold, as it happens i flopped a flush, and got all his chips. If the chip stack is deep enough, i dont mind playing like this vs rocks.
  9. you should always quit 5/10 minutes earlier to avoid those bad beats....(sw)Assuming your up 50/80, your winning at that table, so why not keep playing out till the end of your time limit you set yourself. For all you know your going to win another 50 in the last 10 minutes, its as likely as losing it (assuming your playing well still and the losses aren't for another reason).Generally the only time i'll leave early is if im making stupid mistakes, or i've got to the point where i've had enough for the time being and don't want to play anymore - dragging it out to finish exactly on 2/3/whateve
  10. I have a tin foil hat i'll sell you for $29.99, it stops your hole cards being displayed by anyone using these programs
  11. we are talking about low limit poker here, how often do you play vs the same players? I dont really see any point disguising my hand when im rarely going to see the same players enough times they will actually notice
  12. first one is ugly imo. Your down to 4, you WANT the small stack to lose, so don't push out a hand that might still beat him by the river. Your aim is to get top 3, THEN play for first. I dunno, i hate people betting into sidepots without a really good hand. 88 isn't good enough to take it imo, especially as the shortstack will triple up if neither of you win
