  1. is there search feature on FullTilt? I've looked and haven't found it.
  2. Let me start by saying that I have been in a horrible rut with poker for about two weeks. But I think things are getting better, and I'm going to tell you why.Last night I was playing a $3 holdem tournement on PS with about 1900 entrants. I was basically just playing for fun, because I'd been losing so much at limit, I thought it'd be good to go back to NL Tourneys. With about 500 people left, my stack was at a respectable 11,000. I'm on the button and dealt 9h9d. In front of me there is an all-in for about 1500 and an over-the-top all in for about 2600 another call all-in directly to m

  4. DO NOT ASK ABOUT THAT. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO. YOU'VE REOPENED PANDORA'S BOX.
  5. "For those of you who are interested in cheating your opponents out of their money by giving yourself an absolutely unbeatable edge at the tables – you have just been dealt pocket aces!"Awesome! That works out for me AT LEAST 100 percent of the time!
  6. NO FEAR! haha this is one of the stupidest threads i've ever seen.
  7. If someone gave me one of those for free and there wasn't a garbage can around I'd probably hang on to it until I sold it on ebay. That's as positive as I'm willing to go on this one.
  8. is there a search feature on UB? I can't find it.
  9. I think I'd make the laydown with QQ, honestly. It's a tournement, man. You have to stay alive. It's not your job to knock someone out from a comfortable position unless you have KK or AA in my opinion. Heed the advice of Phil Hellmuth, who will tell you to fold those queens pre-flop, or The Fresh Prince, who will tell you that "girls ain't nothing but trouble."-rw marks
  10. Wow, you're right.I heard Tuan Le explain this move in an interview once. He called it something...god if only I could remember. It was this new theory he was working on, I think it was called "duffing"or maybe it was "sluffing."Well I can't remember but I guess he's one of the first dudes to try it in the poker world. I wonder if it will catch on.There was no hand that Le could put Maxfield on that would flat-call a 2 million dollar raise preflop only to check that flop, except two big hearts or worse. He wasn't value betting his gut shot, he was putting a bet in there based on the outstand
  11. Maxfield should NOT have checked that flop. With two hearts on the board, Le knows an overpair should not be checking. Therefore, knowing his opponent is VERY GOOD AT POKER, he decides that he's not up against a hand and pushes at the pot. Le had no reason to think he was walking into a 4-out situation, but instead probably believed he had a minimum of 7 and possibly 10 outs. (two nines, two eights, three sevens; three nines, three eights, four sevens).I'm going to change the situation up a bit here.Say Tuan Le has 22 and Maxfield still has his 56.flop is still 5-6-3Maxfield checks his top
  12. no stacks.just one big messy pile.and always bet in handfuls.i usually just stack them based on value, but if I get low, I put them all in one stack. I think it makes me look like I'm ready to grab it and push it in, and helps me see cheap flops when I'd have to lay down my hand otherwise.
  13. What I don't get is how that dog makes all those jump shots in Air Bud. I mean, he's a dog! I think about it every day and I still haven't been able to figure it out. Can anyone explain it to me?
  14. Paul Maxfield played his hand HORRIBLY. I've seen Le make some questionable calls and get lucky, but this situation is totally different. Maxfield a questionable play before the flop by calling 2 million when he only could only dominate THREE hands. He was behind to anything but a 23, a 42, and a 34. He's behind to EVERYTHING else. After the flop, and after getting extremely lucky by hitting two 2 pair, Maxfield checked with two hearts on the board. If I'm in Le's position here, there is NO WAY I put Maxfield on a hand. I would think "he's not going to give me a free heart with a made s

  16. Well, obviously he knows a thing or two about bankroll managment, because.....HAVE YOU SEE THE APARTMENT HE LIVES IN? IT"S GIANT! Knish must pay his drivers really well.
  17. yeah it's stupid. if someone has you covered, they can save themselves the syllables and just say "all-in." that would be FAR less irritating than, "i'm calling you all in" when i hear that, i hear "i watched poker on tv once" people who say that bum me out. Half the time i just see it as a bully-move though. It's doesn't really make sense to have the thought, "i think that they have a hand they're willing to call all their chips away with, but i also think my hand is better." I don't get it. I wish people would not say "i'm calling you all in"
  18. that might play overseas, but here in the states I believe you'd get your ass kicked for doing something like that
  19. OK I don't have time to read all the reponses. Maxfield should have never been in that pot. Calling a 2 million chip raise with 56? What's the best thing he could hit? Le wasn't so much more lucky to hit his seven as Maxfield was to hit top two with a 56. Maxfield checks. Justify that.Le pushes all in, figuring A.) Maxfield will fold, B.) he has 8 or 10 outsI'm not saying Le would have folded to a bet off the flop, but with three to a straight and two to a flush out there, you can't risk giving a free card. If you're gonna make a bad call preflop, at least back it up with some good pos
