You lost me here, when you couldn't spell tales correctly, and believe in the million years of evolution.
  2. Something more may be the right answer, however, I believe it to be a simple matter of this is Daniel's forum, and since he's a Christian, it's the religion or lifestyle we discuss the most.Of course, I could be wrong, but I might be right....
  3. Ok, then riddle me this.... Who created the ball?
  4. I know I'm tuning in late, however, doing this would sharply curtail basketball betting in Vegas.... There's supposedly some sort of law that prohibits it. Go figure....
  5. Well, you might be right, however, if this is indeed the case, there should be a no purchase necessary option.and I already did figure it out. The fact that you choose to ignore that, is mildly distressing, but I'm over it. Are you?J
  6. bigger picture in terms of christianity necessarily being the "right" religeon, in terms of the contradictory nature of god from old to new testament, in terms of contradictions among the gospels, in terms of why god would want to leave any doubt about his existence or why his plan of salvation makes no sense. you have to use selective logic to justify any of that. However, the argument goes somewhere along the lines of, the contradictions aren't really contradicitions, but merely different reports of the same things. Furthermore, if the Bible were to be dismissed that easily, it would've happ
  7. so are you joining every other religeon for the same reason then? gotta cover all your bases you know.Actually, if you new anything about that which you were criticizing, you would know that it's ok to go all in with the God of the Bible.J
  8. no, but it means you have to carefully and selectively bias your logic to fit your belief. there is a bigger picture that christians choose to ignore. And what exactly is that bigger picture? Usually, a claim like that would be backed up with actual facts.J
  9. For those who tuned in late, what book, and how can I get a copy, too? I'm currently readng The Case for a Creator, by Lee Strobel. I'm back to this thread, as Paul Phillips has come out as an atheist on his 'blog, and I needed balance :)J
  10. First, I don't play online...Therefore, I'm not even elligible for nine of te seats, and to win the seat in live play, it looks like I'd have to move to Canada...One can only hope that in future events, there are other ways to qualify for guys like me, as I can't be the only one...J
  11. And, as he stated to the new girl, "Don't do what you see me do." That one sentence says it all.I do like that he was able to play a few hands without looking at his cards. I have done this as well on a few occasions, with the same success. I say it's not about the cards, Phil Ivey on a Full Tilt Poker promo says sometimes it's about everything but the cards, and I feel both statements are correct.I also believe that Daniel was able to do what he did, because he's who he is. Another guy doing exactly the same thing as he did, large buy in, extremely loose aggressive play, etc. would have wildl
  12. Actually, that's John 14:6 John 3:17 gets no good press because it comes after John 3:16, which is propbably the most well known verse in the Bible; It reads as follows:For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
