well, Brees just coming off surgery, and the perception that Culpepper was a good QB (if I had randy moss to throw to, i coulda looked good for a year or two, too) thats a decision that looks much worse in hindsight. nobody thought Brees was going to come back the way he has, or he wouldve had many more interested teams than just the saints. and the head coach isnt the only one who makes personnel decisions, including in the draft. is Ted Ginn a bust? mostly, yeah. he's a great returner, but you dont draft a returner that high. but Dolphins fans wanted Brady Quinn....and i guess getting Ronnie

we really need this win. philly will probably house atlanta without Matt Ryan and Michael Turner out. the giants have lost 5 of 6 while we have won 5 of 6, even if it hasnt been pretty. if we let philly catch us and the giants within a game and getting the tiebreaker, our chances of winning the division or a wild card spot, since the pack owns the tiebreaker over us as well, drop significantly. our schedule the rest of the way is tough with the chargers, saints and philly and going to washington. the only bright spot is if it comes down to the last game against Philly we get them at home, and

even bad players assume you have AAxx and think their 8 is the nuts. its not really handreading, they just figure you have AA like they figure you have AK when you raise in holdem. thing is, if he's nut peddling, you still beat a ton of his range. KKxx doesnt call the flop, and he's not playing many 22xx hands or slowplaying them when he does. his limp pf also usually means he has a random 8 and not KKxxalso, we're OOP and dont have much going with our AAxx. i'd just complete and hope to see an A or some hearts or a flop like this one.

i dont get all the Saban hate. because he lied about leaving the dolphins for Bama? of course he did, he was in the middle of a season with miami. no decent coach admits he's leaving his team in the middle of a season. if he did that everyone would hate on him for quitting on his team. i can see LSU fans having some resentment because he left for the pros, then came right back to college, but everyone else on the hating Saban bandwagon is just weird. its not like he pulled a Bobby Petrino. thats the guy people should really be down on, but for some reason he's like a footnote to saban.

the giants shouldnt have been expected to play well against the Broncos. they had a short week after a tough OT game, flying across the country to play in thin air Denver. not really mix for a good game.but id agree about their lines, and also Eli is a good QB, but without Plax he isnt going to win many games on his own, and they have no D or run game. sure it was the Raiders, but they beat Philly and Cincy. and we dominated the game. nothing to brag about, sure, but something positive to take into December.

thats how id play the turn/riveri wouldnt be too eager to get a lot of money in on the flop, really. we have a lot but none of it's nut anything, and we're 5 handed out of position. if it were heads up or 3 handed, i wouldnt mind trying to jam the flop, but 5 way our hand's not really as strong as it looks.

yeah it was def. a horrible effort, and even if the refs make all the right calls we still probably lose. not blaming the refs, just saying they missed a lot. apparently wade p. has like a grocery list of plays he's sending in for the league to review. and well, this was our reasoning behind drafting/signing the players we did, right? to add depth. we had a very solid first string but lacked good 2nd/3rd stringers, and thats what jerry wanted to bulk up in the offseason, time to see if he did good or not.

however many FR tables are running at 100PLO, usually 2. LHE pays the bills (or used to, this is keeping me in the black the past 2 months) so i usually try to find some good tables there than see whats up on the PLO tables. if things keep going as badly as they have been in LHE im gonna add in some 6max PLO and start mostly playing that, i think.

thats insanely counterintuitive. we dont have much fold equity by betting out the flop unless he has KKxx and thats it. and theres no reason to chase him away if thats what he has.so you want to bet at it hoping he folds and then slow down if he doesnt? what, then, is our bet hoping to accomplish? we fold out weaker hands and get called (or more likely raised) by stronger ones.

i'd say fast (like c/r) but every time i'm in this situation im against the last two Aces and a flush draw and stack off.

only 2 cards really improve us, the last T and K this looks like a much better board for us than it really is. we have a set, but its bottom set and the other two set possibilities other people rarely fold preflop. theres also a potential straight, so we have the 4th nuts as it stands.we have a flush draw, but its not the nut flush draw, and were blocking one of our own outs. we have a double straight draw, but the K is obvious and the 9 doesnt make us the nuts. its a lot of stuff, and heads up or even 3 handed id like our hand a lot more. but 5 way? i dont want to fold yet, but i dont want t
