A buddy of mine and I were playing at our local casino. We live in Colorado so the max bet is $5. I have played there a bunch and I am up for the most part but I have recently had two bad losing sessions. This is frustrating to me especially becaise I have never had a situation like this as I usually play 10/20. The game is 2 to 5 holdem. Meaning $2 small bet and $5 big. It has a weird structure though as you can bet $2 to $5 anytime, preflop through the river. The last two days were a decent players paradise as the players for the most part suck. Anyway I ended up with two sessions with a $10

Well I am glad we finally heard from an expert who has seen every poker situation imaginable. I now can limit my readings to his posts only since he obviously is the authority. Doyle, Phil and Hansen should lookout! I didn't know that playing on the 5/10 and 10/20 at Foxwoods would subject someone to every possible poker situation ever experienced! congrats to Detroit. It is just too bad that they will never get past San Antonio! But at least they will make 2nd place. Good accomplishment!

I will say it again. He needs to grow up. He has such an inflated opinion of himself . You don't hear DN, Ivey, Lindgren or other greats that actually have reason to be egotistical act this way. I hope that this year when he goes into belittling a player that he does it to the wrong guy and they take his ass outside and teach him a lesson. The guy needs to grow up and realize the world doesn't bow down to assholes no matter what they have accomplished!

has anyone tried these prestige pro plastic cards? They are a cheap substitute for Kems i guess. I just bought some off of ebay and would like to know of anyone's opinion of them. They are advertised as 100% plastic.Thanks

I was watching some replays of events on tv last week and caught some early footage of Arieh. Maybe it is just me but the guy was even an ******* back then. I agree he is an accomplished player but he gets on people at the table for little stuff. If he thinks someone takes to long or just about anything, he belittles them. I think what needs to happen is one of these days someone needs to pull him outside and teach him some manners.

Why would you make this argument. It is obvious that taking the 10 grand is the smart choice here. There is going to be the largest turnout ever to the big dance this year. Why would you risk 10 grand on something that even the bets pros don't anticipate winning. Basically you made an ignorant statement.
