  1. When I stopped overplaying AK I started making more money.read this sentence 50 times. your bankroll will thank you.
  2. i read the title, and scott's post.and he's right.
  3. not a valid poll. none of, aside from DN, and maybe some lurking pros know.this is simply a popularity contest.
  4. I want to get as many people to the flop, as cheaply as i can with these hands.now.1) same situation as OP, and the flop comes T 3 2 rainbow. action gets checked around to you. do you check through, or bet? you've missed your set but not much on this board beats you. i bet here 85% of the time regardless of my holding. this isn't a low pocket pair situation as much as it is a general question.
  5. oh come on now.seriously.my gut is good too, but we all make misreads every day.
  6. chuck. your "flop" to sentence ratio is 8/5. how do you do it.i think its why i love you.
  7. heh. no problem. if you are satisfied with the commentary, then its fine. once you put the results up, the thread is doomed to sink. just keep it open ended and bumped and people will help you out..... hurry.. before they all see the results!
  8. when you see pros play moderately weak hands, the blinds are usually relatively small compared to their stacks. playing weaker hands is also possible in cash games. you never clarified this, but i'm assuming you speak of sng's. the blinds in these are far too large and fast to be making loose limps.
  9. i've found that a winning player will do just fine with 15 buyins in ring games. more for 6max.
  10. all music that i own is on there..... if its in itunes, it automatically imports it.sue me.
  11. 3 handed?you sure?i'll give you another chance to comment.. go ahead.
  12. go to soundclick.com and search for "pragress"that, or ask him when he's playing on prima. he is happy to talk about his music with ppl on there. I have a few times. I actually put one of his songs that i like on my ipod and told him i listened to it in my car... he was amazed.
  13. he's trying to add something to the forum here bro. despite what you may think of his earlier threads, there is no need to screw up a decent one.stop trying to ruin his threads because you have nothing better to do.say what you wish, i'll not respond.
  14. I did a comeback tour after my Ed Miller experiment fell short of greatness.I lost 100 of 150 (a 50 NL roll for shortstack), and took my last 50 to the 20 NL tables. Ever since then, I've been playing deep stacked normal game and winning. This was all just before thanksgiving, and now I am pushing $500 in the same 20 NL games.
  15. many many players do not like to raise out of the SB with AK. Its all dependant on table texture, really. I usually do a little more than 50% of the time.. its closer to 90% anywhere else on the table.I believe I this being quoted from John Arieh somewhere, if that gets you to believe me.
  16. I was just looking back at some of the sessions I've played lately, and I noticed something startling:My winrate in the first few rounds at a table is much larger compared to any other point in the session. I don't have an exact number, but it probably might not be significant without a larger sample.... which is why I'm posting. Do you guys find any similar trends, or do you feel this may be statistically significant?some more detail:I am a pretty tight player, and I have been keeping a good winrate at the 20NL and 50NL levels for the last few weeks. I have found that I am usually getting
  17. its nice to win them.they are beneficial to the bankroll.skill wise..... no.
  18. Whats the read on the guy anyway? If he's looking to make max profit like a fool he might even be slow playing a set down on you (retarded w/ the flush draw on the board but...)the read is really 50/50 on the guy... i mean, the general table texture is passive, but that's how prima 50 NL usually is.I would normally put him on a hand here, but this board is just so draw heavy... i really don't want to just leave my money out there by default.I think there are some image issues to consider as well.it doesn't look too good for me if i bet all the way down, and c/f to a persistent caller. I also
  19. also, i might add, that checking this river invites him to bluff with any busted draw. all the more reason to give this a little more thought than you have.
  20. i think its a very valid question. the board is draw heavy, all draws miss, and he has just been calling down. why should I give him credit for a hand? I am looking to see what the general consensus is on how often i can make a play here.you, sir, are very weak.
