SPOILER ALERTyoure right.... the fact that its a FATHER SON COMBO and that they are basically calling each other's hands out the whole way down only to have the son muck the best hand in hopes that his chips will help his dad win another title like he knows he dreams of MEANS NOTHING...idiot...

Collusion at the final table is the way the character "redeems" himself after stealing, criticizing for somebody not cheating for him, etc etc?the cameos were entertaining but i hated watching hennigan and many other pros being called some fictitious name...enjoyed parts of it, but overall it was a POS

at coushatta (in louisiana) this weekend, a clueless asian lately was tipping $20 or more on hands... IN A FRICKIN 2/5 GAME!!!!!!it was just on the bigger pots... when she was chasing down her flush etc... then shed start throwing red chips to the dealer saying "you want more?"one dealer made $100 in 3 hands off her... RIDICULOUS

can i manually enter my finishes somehow?my pokertracker has been frozen for a while now :(i just want to keep track of some of the things on there... ROI etc... and looks at the different levels im doing ok on...this is what i started 2 days ago:sng experiment $100.00 deposit - SNGS ONLY - to produce appropriate MTT and $2/5 live roll $5.50 9 handed SNG- 4th$5.50 9 handed SNG- 4th $11.00 9 handed SNG- 6th $10.50 HU NLHE- 2nd - this was a deviation from the plan... $5.50 NLHE MTT- nada - this was too... $22 9 handed sng- 1st $90 (+68) - back to being serious... $22 9 handed sng- 8th

1000ish players left.... 2800X1500/1000=4200

yeah... i hear ya....we are playing this format because several of the players are playing the same structure at the WSOP soon after... of course, 20 players vs maybe 1000 is much different, but we wanted to look at exactly what yall have talked about...seems like a aggro luck-needed structure early, which im fine with... gamble it up early with strong hands and then make some room to play...guaranteed that several of the players there wont realize what is necessary with the structure and wont be playing tight enough until they only have 500 chips...

from original post: Payout: Top 5 (50%,25%,15%,5% & 5%) based on 20 players
-
with the short stack start... but long levels.... at what point would you consider yourself in the clear to actually play and not be forced to gamble so much?
-
i know... i was halfkidding...what i was looking for was what people would consider in that first level more than anything...making it 4Xbb means youve committed 1/10 of your stack.... 1 caller and youre committing another 20% (30% total) on the flop alone with a pot sized bet... i would imagine that about half the players in this tournament realize this... the other half are absolute dillholes.... so it will be interesting...

well excuse me...

2 table freezeout designed to mimic a $1000 buy in at WSOP soon after (since several are playing in it...)obviously this has only 20 players where the real one will have many more, but what type of strategy would you implement in this situation?Game: No Limit Hold'em Buy-in: $100 Place: ****Date: Saturday June 24, 2006 Time 2:00 pm Chips: T 1000 Payout: Top 5 (50%,25%,15%,5% & 5%) based on 20 players Blinds: 60 min BYOE Detailed Blind levels: LEVEL ANTE BLINDS 1 - $25-$25 2 - $25-$50 3 - $50-$100 4 - $100-$200 5 $25 $100-$200 6 $25 $150-$300 7 $50 $200-$400 8 $75 $300-$600 Remove $25 Chips

right.... 77, 88, unlikely AA... or AK are the hands im stressin here... KK or QQ coulda been overplayed but very unlikely...i have a reputation in this game as being rather LAG.... a lot of the players are rather weak and i scoop lots of small pots and play my hands blind sometimes (without them realizing that...)i could see this player calling my reraise with 88... AA obviously, and AK... know they wouldnt with AJ or less....i ended up folding... wound up making that money back in about 4 hands.... and owning that player the rest of the night.... player appeared to be very tight/solid and it

ive been at the table... villain recently moved over (2 table home game)the preflop was because villain is reasonably tight and would fold or fold to on flop aggression.... this is not my typical AQ play... and apparently this was a bad spot for it...i dont see villain overplaying KK or QQ with this flop.... my best bet is that villain has 88 or AK... (known to hate AJ or lower so im not looking at 2 pair either for this preflop action)

6 handed 1/2NLHE game... play is somewhat loose but no pedro or anything... 1st time playing with villiain and ive got a minimal read due to less than an hour of play... relatively tight/standard play though observed so far. stacks: villain has about $250ish? and ive got $174 to start the hand 6 handed at this point... villain makes it $8 UTG... in the cutoff i raise to $22 with AQo villian calls... $47 in pot going to flop flop is As7d8d villain bets out $30 i raise to $75 villain smooth calls turn is 4c villain bets $70 and i have $77 in my stack.... whats your play and what hand are you put
