none of this is true. if you can't beat bad players you will never beat better players. also consider that even if you have an edge over an entire table most of your profit will still come from the worst players, so it will be to your advantage to learn how to beat them for as much as you can.

blinds are 75/150. me and co are 4kish btn is 1.3k ish. i open 3x from hijack with KJs. co calls btn calls both blinds fold.flop comes 259 rainbow. i bet 2/3 the pot them both call.turn is the ace that puts two of my suit out. again i bet 2/3 the pot they both call.river is a 9 that isn't my suit. i open fold. my thinking is that since the btn is so short now i want the co to know he can bluff him out without having to worry about me. thoughts?

the way computers randomly generate numbers in software (mostly) works so that if you knew the number they used to start it (the 'seed') and the algorithm you can create the same sequence of numbers. the usual way to generate the seed is to use the current time on the computer. this is not impervious to attack. there is special hardware which uses things like beta decay to generate real random numbers which is what poker sites should be using.

why do they take so long to play the hand? when that turn falls they are both getting it in. i never understood the drama of taking so long to make a decision when playing. most of the time you should have a good idea of what is going to happen on your side and your opponents when whatever card falls. and i know if i do when i play then i am damn sure these two do when they play. so why the drama?
