  1. Say it ain't so Rose say it ain't so!
  2. I'm in for a weekly game for sure, I really miss the Neg-Os - Rose hopefully we can do a money swap, my Hero for Feltstars.
  3. Seriously this needs way more love or hate, you got some balls dude!
  4. I'm playing on Carbon today and hopefully I'll still be playing at 9 but if not I'll try to play.
  5. I play on Carbon and get RB there but I'll try to do this game if Rose will swap me the buy in.
  6. I'll go with uber-nit, I heard somewhere the other guy had a boat and it looks like only one hand could have the quads beat 9Tss, not knowing how the action went it's hard to say but seems pretty unlikely he just happens to have that exact combo but I guess that early in that huge of a game maybe........ no I couldn't make that fold. If by some miracle I could find a fold no way I'd show it.
  7. I was able to download directly from PokerStars.eu - right after BF I had to use a proxy server to download the .eu software but I was able to download without the proxy server recently.
  8. I just checked and I have 0 points for Dan Kelley but as Bob said I'm sure he'll get it next time.
  9. I'm sighing and folding, not getting it in this early with AQ. Too many tards will play AA and KK and AK like this because they're afraid to see a flop. The best you can hope for is JJ or TT with which you're flipping and it's just too early to flip for 1/2 your stack. Online I'd be more tempted to call but live I'd fold.
  10. I did call the turn but like I said I doubt I'm good here enough for the call to ever show a profit, he had A2 for the straight.
  11. I highly recommend reading Kill Everyone if you're into multi-table tournaments. I'm not a cash game player, at least not unless I'm playing live or I'm burned out on MTT variance, so I can only really speak about tournaments.Join a training site, of course I recommend PokerVT, Daniel's site. It's best to start off right instead of developing a lot of bad habits you'll have to spend time breaking. As for books, Kill Everyone really covers so many of the tournament fundamentals and the Math and it goes into very good details on all the aspects of tournament play. So it's a great book to start ou
  12. Thanks, Reason for the posting, a guy who's be coaching me some and is very good with a sick win rate on Merge was railing me in this game. He said flatting the c/r on this flop was fine and that since this guy is showing up with lots I beat here I should call turn. I usually don't strongly disagree with him but in this case I very strongly disagree. I have no issue calling the flop c/r since these days online you get check raised so much with anything from pure air to 2nd and 3rd pair very often. When flatted these guys will usually check the turn and give up or make one more small stab at it
  13. No history with villain, looked him up before this hand and he's only played 2 games on Merge. Prior to this hand I saw him call a 22bb early position shove in LP or the blinds, can't remember which, with 77 and another time I raised in MP and he min 3 bet and folded to my 4 bet shove. Other than that I had no other reads. I'm just not sure about this hand in general. Would checking back the flop been best? Then as played call c/r or fold, then again as played turn call or fold with 29bb behind? We were about 9 from the money at this point.Merge - $0+$0.00|<> NL - Holdem - 8 playersHand c
  14. Really, it's my real life!!!But seriously, I tend to prefer online a bit because I can play more tables, the buy ins are more affordable and I don't have to smell stinky people or listen to some dumb woman whine about how her aces got cracked. I do really enjoy live more in a lot of way though, I like the social interaction and I like being able to watch people for their reactions. It's also nice to only have one game to concentrate on versus several online. Unfortunately I live 3 hours to the nearest casino so online is just more convenient for me.
  15. Good game! I put a tiny bit of money on Bovada and played a few MTTs today. Software is def tolerable but no HUD and no names takes some getting used to.
  16. Wow you kind of bang the nail right on the head!
  17. Patience! Whoever said "poker, a day to learn and lifetime to master" wasn't kidding. NLH and Omaha are super complex games and no matter how much you learn and understand there is 100 times more to be learned. To top that off the game is ever evolving, with the online game evolving even faster than the live game in most cases, therefore, patience and constant study, review and improvement are key to obtaining your goal.I can look back on this very forum at the way I looked at and thought I was analyzing a hand and see how god awful wrong I was and I'm talking as little as 6 to 8 months ago.
  18. Finished $17.5K in 4th for $1137, made a mistake against the aggro big stack. 16/17 in the high roller, 36 paid. Need a big double up fast to survive.Final table of the high roller 6/9...Oh Merge btw.Edit: Out in 8th for $1856, KK < 222 all in on the flop.
  19. Final table of the Merge $22 $17.5K 4/9 and still in the high roller doing decently.
  20. Yep LockOPs got cancelled Merge said no! From what I read they were afraid Lock couldn't meet the guarantees and I'm sure the other skins raised hell :-( Merge is a network of "skins" the biggest ones are (in order of size as far as I know)CarbonLockPlayersOnly/SportsbookRPMBlackChipHero and some others I wouldn't recommend fooling with. All the games and player pools are shared between the skins. So if you are a Lock player you will be playing with players from all the skins. You can only do player to player money transfers on your specific skin. VIP programs and promotions vary from skin to
  21. Wow new members, nice! Welcome all! I'm not that young either and if it's true that you're only as old as you feel I'm freaking ancient :-)
  22. Well call me stupid, I'm sure some of you have, but of course my email password was the same as my 2p2 password. I fixed it of course and thank's to Noah's article I remembered to fix some stuff I would of forgotten. This really blows, I had done a "money swapping" to get some money off Merge with this guy and I was afraid at first that I had PM'd him my bank account information on 2p2 but I had done it on Skype and Part Time Poker, had to change those passwords too. I only use that bank account for poker so it doesn't have much in it, what a mess! Guess this is what 2p2 gets for treating Dani
