Today sucked SO bad:DNG AA < KK (hit 4 to a flush)$5.50 2r 1a = something stupid don't even remember$1r 15K gtd = AA < AQs (hit a flush)$3r 40K gtd = AK < AQ (flopped ace he shoved over and turned a queen or and to a short stack who hit quad jacks)$55 women's game QQ < 33 (she rivered a str8)$5 women's game AKs<99 (flopped and A and K and she shove over with 9 9 and turned a 9)It's days like this that make me wonder why I play poker.

Was in the Sunday DNG but busted AA < KK he hit four to a flush - aaargggghhhh In the $5 2r 1a and a couple of other things atm.

Okay I see it - with 2 others in the hand a bet on this flop would have been better. HU a check here might have been okay but in this case betting was best. Knowing her love of ace rags and her being unlikely to ever lay down her ace no matter what I bet on any street I think the outcome would have been the same but I definitely see the point of 1. raising more pre-flop and 2. betting the flop.

Not to beat a dead horse but I ran this hand in a Nash Calculator and according to that, unless I'm misunderstanding this is the over shove ranges:Him raising UTG+1 Over shove from the button = BU 10.0%, 55+ A9s+ ATo+ KQsHowever we were only 8 handed so that makes him UTG+2 more or less and with how much he was raising I think the UTG+2 ranges would be more correct and the over shove range for me here would be:15.8%, 44+ A5s+ A9o+ KTs+ KJo+ QTs+ JTsSo I either missed a spot or I'm misunderstanding Nash. I've had some coaching lately and one of the main things he's been telling me is to check in these situations to try induce more action and get more value so this was what I was doing here. This flop was only slightly damp and knowing mahgenta I was actually surprised when she didn't bet here. I do agree I should have made it at least 3X or 3.5X pre being OOP and the CO limp.

I checked the flop because knowing mahgenta (CO) I expected her to bet and I was going to check raise her here. Against a lot of players I would have made a c-bet but against her I thought the check raise would work best and get the most value. She is very aggressive post flop. I could have bet more on the flop but again I was trying to get value and the board wasn't really threatening. As for the river I could see her re raising here with many other hands than the flush and I felt I was pretty much pot committed. I thought maybe AT and she did it with 2 pair so I was still good. I'm pretty sure from what I'd seen A9 was a good bit ahead of his raising range and I had seen him fold to shoves from the tighter players. Serge,I agree there is room for men to play as their girlfriend, wife etc but I don't think overall it's happening enough to be a problem. Wow, oops booboo there! I agree to a point with what you say but there are more constructive ways to say things. I proof every post I make once and many times even twice before submitting them and then I proof them again after posting and fix any errors I find. Even with all this I go back later and when rereading a previous post I will find missing words or mis-typed words. None of us are perfect.
