hey man....I love poker but my first love is sports gambling....thats where I make my money (I do ok at poker but nothing special I am sure)....we should talk shop sometime....like how pissed I am that I bet on Arizona at the beginning of the tourney to win it all and then they CHOKE against the Illini....ARGH!!!!

PGA players can get bonuses, or contracts from sponsors. Your correct that a small over seas tournament will pay Tiger Woods to come and play, however Nike also pays Tiger to play in a set amount of tournaments, yearlyActually, appearance fees on the PGA Tour are illegal. Golfers only get them to go to international tournaments (like the Dubai classic). I think adding TV money into the prize pool is a great idea. Conversely, I think having big name players get appearance fees is a terrible idea....but I dont want to hate.

I play 5-10 as my main game on empire/party.....definitely find it a good limit. Lots of bad players in the games....very loose...but your bets have some meaning so you can make a few moves and get people off of draws and medium pairs, etc.

Hey everyone,I am a newbie to this forum so first of all hello to everyone. Anyways, I am a just out of college kid who loves poker and is constantly looking to improve. The only difference between me and most of the posters I have seen on here is that I seem to play much higher stakes. Yeah, I see too much negativity here....especially coming from these "nickel and dime" players. Too often, people seem to forget this is a place to debate ideas and strategies about poker and offer advice....it is not a place to belittle people. Anyways, I have been an avid reader of this forum for a month now and it is time for me to post. I am just out of college but I have a very healthy bankroll because I am really good at sports betting (much better than I am at poker!).
