I am wondering about the content of the site. I can’t find anywhere that says how often new content will be added. Everything looks great so far, but how the content is added is going to make or break it. The technology and presentation looks superior to CR, but CR makes a concerted effort to constantly add to the site. What is the commitment level of the instructors at VT?

Televised poker works because people watching can easily see themselves sitting at the final table. All they have to do is put up the entry fee and play well for a few days. If you take that "everyman" aspect out of it, its becomes more like televised bowling. It would be far from the NFL as so many people tried to hype it.

That is good news. To update an earlier thread, I got my 3k WU transfer from Bodog, but it was a pain in the ***. All the WU places around here would only give me 1k in cash and then 2 1k WU checks, that I have to take to the bank.

Just to update, ysterday I requested 3k via WU. First I got the pending transfer message saying payouts are processed in the order they are received. Later I got a email saying my payout has been approved and processed. The money is out of my bodog account, but I haven't gotten an email telling me where to pick up my money. It says that it can take up to one business day for the transfer to complete, so I hate that this is a weekend. What worries me is that when I requested the WU payout it never asked me to set up a WU account or anything. I guess they will use my name and address off my acco

True, but I'd guess alot of the sportsbook action is American players also, and they'll be having the same issues with deposits.

I looked at them but I dont remember. You can see them if you sign in and request a payout via money transfer, then click the link in the statement saying that "Bodog only covers fees for one a week..click here to see fees." or something to that effect. I went back and tried to request another payout, but now I get a message saying I have to cancel my pending payout or wait until its processed to request another.I don't really think the sky is falling, but when checks by mail weren't offered anymore and with out neteller to move money from site to site I got worried.

It looks to me like you can do more than one WU payout in a week, but you'll have to cover the fees for any beyond the first. I just requested my first 3k. Hopefully it goes smoothly. If not I'll have one huge super bowl bet for play money I guess.

I also noticed in the neteller link from the other thread that they say you can't transfer from a gambling site to neteller, but I just got an email from Bodog saying"As you may already be aware, we are no longer able to process transactions from US NETeller accounts. We know that you have used this method recently to fund your account and wanted to reassure you that payouts via NETeller can still be requested and will continue to be processed to your NETeller account at this time."

I agree that he can flat call there with AA or KK, but I don't think he has those hands enough of the time to worry much. I did say that I think it was played correctly. I can see him calling with and then folding Ak-A10 KQ, KJ, 66-99. And I see those hands occuring more often than AA or KK, thats why I said he folds most of the time. Maybe I am wrong, but in that spot I just don't worry that much about AA or KK. If he has it, oh well tough luck. But if he does have it I want to see all 5 cards to maximize my suckout potential.

AT first I thought its an easy muck or call. But the more I think about it I think you played it right and got unlucky. You're not really worried about the short stack, and the middle guy is folding in that spot almost all the time. He just happened to have a big hand. You could make an arguement for a call, but that puts you in a tough spot on the flop. Unless its a scary flop or you flop a set you still may get nailed. Like I said I know nothing about the value of fantasy players in hockey. But I have a group of friends and we play fantasy baseball, nascar, golf, and several football leagues. So we decieded to start a fantasy hockey league, but we let Yahoo auto draft. None of us know much about hockey and its a 7 team league.
