  1. rrumsey hit the nail on the head IMO. nuff said.
  2. I think you see a turn and reevaluate there but if you don't hit one of your draws its an automatic fold on turn.
  3. I got the $25 but the money won't be uploading to your account until tomorrow. That is what I read in the rules. Oct. 2nd the money will be uploaded.
  4. you need to be cautious with this hand because you are not drawing to the nuts and you can easily end up on the lower side of the straighta and flush. I agree with being passive. I think repoting on the flop is a bad call because what are you going to do if villian repots you? Make the call, take a card, and proceed from there.
  5. yeah and even then $2.50 on the river could be a cautious bet with a low flush so then he is probably planning on calling if you raise anyways. Fold is the play.
  6. he isn't very exciting to watch. I will agree with that.
  7. i wanna play with the guy who will throw away a set of 10's here ha ha. Pick up some pots on him.
  8. ha ha yeah it always seems to be the case with aces. It also seems everytime i have kings an ace hits the flop as well.
  9. hey at least I was right about J 10. I think if I am the one with aces here I don't continue after flop. Or at least I hope I could make a laydown like that.
  10. i don't like to get all my money in preflop in omaha either but in this case I think it was the right play. NO hands are major favorites preflop in omaha. I just think because of the stack sizes and the way this played out the correct play was to go ahead and shove. I hoped the hand worked out for you OP.
  11. ha ha it would seem that way but no for some reason my college decided that the only time they would offer the class I need at night was on sunday nights. Its not a bad class just at a sucky time.
  12. you took a risk with checking on the turn and giving him a free card but seeing as he bet and that worked out for you if you wanted to rep KK or JJ you botched it by reraising on the turn. If you assumed that you can't barrell him here on the turn because his range wouldn't allow him to call then why would you telegraph your hand so much by making the reraise? If your read was accurate I think checking behind and then value betting the river is a better play and more represents KK or JJ thus allowing him to bluff at it representing that Ace.
  13. I agree with folding 8 9 and J 10 are probably out there. I think if you reraise here you are only getting called if you are beat so by raising you stand to only make a small pot but you will lose a huge pot. As far as profitablility is concerend the correct play here is to fold. Of course there is always the exception of the over aggressive player who thinks Q J or K J here is good but you would have to make that judgement call.
  14. I can see what rrumsey is saying but all things considered hands like A A x x, K K x x, and Q Q x x, aren't really that huge of favorites. I honestly would rather have the OP's hand. The rest of it was obviously going in on the flop so why not go ahead and shove here. I mean I don't fold this hand when UTG raises to $13 and I only call if the stacks are a lot deeper. Seeing as the stacks are smaller and there is only $4 left in UTG's stack I think shoving is the best idea. Also at theses lower limits I see a lot of players 4 betting with marginal hands just becuase they have one A or K in them
  15. I have to agree with the people that say the correct play here is to fold unless you have a great read on the guy and think he is betting her with just A-A-x-x or K K x x. Although hands like A A J Q or K K J 7 are very real possiblities. If anything the most you can do is call, raising here would be a very bad play IMO. If he has air that is a hell of a ballsy bluff on the river with 4 people to act behind you. In the long run I see folding being a lot more profitable for you.
  16. i am not sure how I feel about this. Another big tourny could be cool but I am conflicted.
