  1. The John Candy movies are priceless and I have to watch them everytime they are on TBS. Even Some Kind of Wonderful, which my wife makes fun of me because its the only chick flick that I can sit through. Strange that Home Alone was my least favorite, but his most commercially successful. I'd rather watch Weird Science, but then again who wouldnt?
  2. Full Tilt has them. There are $3.50, $7.50, $14.00 and up single and multi sng's where the players all start out with 300 in chips with blinds at 15/30. Pre-flop shoves here are typical from the opening hand on with hands as bad as small pairs, A-rag, K-rag. Ive been using the AQ and up and TT up as a start, depending on position and # of players shoving in early. usually easy to double up early here, problem becomes maintaining your stack against short stack players constantly shoving -EV who are going to hit eventually and take a chunk out of you. I mostly stay away from these types of sng's
  3. I agree 100%. At best you're up against AJ with Ad.
  4. Ive been thinking about this one too, its essentially the hand that takes me out of every tournament. The only thing that worries me here is the size of the villians raise. A $2 raise in that spot with with a bet and a call in front of him screams out to me like a nut flush draw setup where he hopes he gets a free card on the turn if no spade falls or a smallish reraise with an overpair to push you out and see where the sb and bb are at.
  5. Yeah I shove there too. You call and you have the world calling behind you. Even against As6s, As4s i think its a flip, no? Someone check me on that. Set of 4's or a flopped straight are your worst case senario here.
  6. Do any of these poker sites ever issue any kind of "statement" with how much in rake you give them over a given period of time. I am trying to determine if rakeback is worth it for me.
  7. Great, not feeling good about hearing that one. But it will be funny to see the hackers face when he breaks into my account and see's the balance.
  8. Great posts, found this today and made my way though most of it. Play anymore freerolls. I know you said you used to play the 70FPP. Theres also the 280FPP multi that pays off the top 6. Was usually an easy one to cash. Keep up the grind. Been great reading.
  9. We've all been on the same kind of run. There was a couple of weeks where Jokerstars was eating my lunch with bad beat after bad beat. I would definitely take a little time off. I wouldnt recommend dropping too many levels lower, if the bad beats continue at that level sometime it messes with your head. When im running bad at one I switch over another site for a few days. Sometimes all you need is a fresh setup to get you back to your natural game. Helps me get to a positive mindset, where I can concentrate on my game a little better and look for leaks before I get back to my regular setup. I
  10. Thats what I figured. It bugs me that they dont give more details though. I play FT and Pstars because being the biggest, im hoping that their security will be the best.
  11. Long time lurker, first time poster.I received the following email last week from Full Tilt and I wanted to know if anyone else received the same notification and if there are any more details. "The Full Tilt Poker Security department has recently concluded an extensive investigation and we have determined that some of your opponents were in violation of our site terms. We have permanently closed all of the offending accounts. In cases of proven cheating, 100% of the confiscated funds are returned to the players who were victimized. The reimbursement calculation is based on the number of tourn
