  1. I really liked the first (new) Texas Chainsaw Massacre... that's too bad.
  2. My sales volume year to date is 1.19M. That's pretty cool. I was even thinking I might make the Million Dollar Club this year and get to put it on my business card. But NOOOOoooooo, my mom says they changed it to 1.5M.Why don't they just call it the 1.5 Million Dollar Club and let me have my just-regular-Million-Dollar-Club?!?!?
  3. It's the Fibonacci Sequence... and it's also supposed to start with two 1's.JS (:
  4. Is that Michelle Trachtenberg?Because I'd definitely beat the hell up outta them guts.Just on general principles from her performance in Nickelodeon's "Harriet the Spy," of which I was a fan over a decade ago.
  5. TKO is when the ref stops the fight because one dude is getting shoeshined in the corner...or if one dude is gushing so much blood he shouldn't be continuing...or if someone throws in the towel. It's effectively equivalent to a KO, and counts as a win.
  6. Ah HAH! That'll do it.I went on my little 36 hour bender on saturday night til sunday noon, then passed out unconscious, and had to set an alarm to catch my flight Sunday.Congratulations on the house!!! That's fantastic.
  7. Must have missed that one. I caught the lamb and the winter though!I'm on the couch myself working on my real estate broker's course. I'll be a broker as soon as I finish this course and pass 2 tests!
  8. Hey you, how've you been?Is that a new tattoo?
  9. Good to hear things are going well with you. I went to Catholic schools from 7th to 12th grade... and every priest I've ever met has either been one of the most deeply spiritual, inspirational people, or the most closed-minded, bigotted zealot ever.
  10. I hate lenders. So this deal was supposed to close on August 15, over a month ago. The first lender was a complete and total moron, and she never called anybody back and straight up lied to my buyers about how their loan was coming along. We ended up firing her, and going with this other lender. The other lender is a better dude, but due to problems with the buyer qualifying, the deal fell apart and came back together three separate times. The lender told me it was closing "tomorrow" no less than 6 days of the last two weeks.Well, we finally got to the closing table today. But since the loan
  11. Argh... it STILL hasn't happened yet.I'm seriously about to c0ckslap this lender. But I've got 2 others pending, so that's groovy.
  12. Hahaha. Georgia NEVER covers big spreads at home. But we did win. My confidence in our quarterbacks is somewhat shaken, though. We got one more easy game (@ Ole Miss, who lost to Wake yesterday) before all our real games (TENN, @ Flor, @ Aub, TECH) start.
  13. How's it going, y'all.Just hanging out at la casa... it's raining in Atlanta. What's new? Does anyone have a fun, exciting, entertaining story to tell me?
  14. Does he look like a b!tch? What?BLAMThen why you tryin' to f**k him like a b!tch?
  15. Hi everybody!I'm sorry I'm such a horrible correspondent.I've been busy lately, which is good. I had a closing scheduled for last month, and it's been put off and put off and put off. It was supposed to close every "tomorrow" of last week, then on Friday the lender says he'll call me this week. I call Monday, no answer, left message. I get him today, and he says we're closing tomorrow.Whatever. Effing lenders. Two more pending! And the commission on one will be $500 more than the biggest I've ever had!And what did I say about your 2006-07 Falcons.I'd talk smack in support of Georgia as we
  16. Position sucks.... but there's not much you can do about it.On the turn, the flush draw missed, so by pushing, you're making the flush draws pay.I like the way you played it.
  17. Hahaha. Ever the polarizing mascot of FCP, good ol' Smash. Miss that guy sometimes.I for one think he's hilarious. And for what it's worth, even if he frequently bordered on weak-tight, I learned a lot from him.
  18. It's okay to lose a lot of money when someone overboats on you.Definitely cap the river.
  19. I don't know how they do it in Gainesville, but at Georgia they have a lottery where you swipe your student ID. Then if you win, you'll have the chance to buy a ticket.Last year it was $32 through the school. I'm pretty sure the away game tickets are the same price everywhere.Alabama... eh, we'll see. Auburn and LSU are gonna be monstrous in the West this year, and Arkansas looks genuinely fiesty. I'm eagerly awaiting the return of Tyrone Prothro. I made a hundred bucks on that Florida game where we saw his leg break Joe Theismann-style.That catch against Southern Miss (it was them, right
  20. What I mean by wielding position is that you should be a lot more inclined to fold out of position, and you can be looser and more aggressive in position. And yes, I've been known to 3-bet KTo in position on Actuary's raise at a strat table, haha. [Don't do that. I'm a maniacal LAG at times.]I don't think KTo in the SB is a bad completion, but I'm saying if the post-flop decision is tough AND we're out of position, be inclined to fold. If it came down T-x-x and we bet and everyone called and the turn was a J-A, I'd bet/fold without a second thought.
  21. 77-99 are my absolute favorite no limit hands, because they can be played any different way preflop and on the flop.Out of position and against a raise, I think re-raising is bad. We'll take the lead preflop and be obliged to bet the flop, and even if we flop over the board, it's still not necessarily a great spot. I think for our position and our implied value of the hand, we're looking at a no set, no bet flop. And Actuary's right... it's important to factor in if 1/2 your outs complete a flush draw.
  22. Hmmmm.I have no math or any particular strategic reason to back this up.I'd call the 3-bet, and call one river bet unless I fill up.Since MP woke up like that, and called your c/r cold on the flop, somethin smells fishy. The only hand I can see him playing like this that we're ahead of is A6. A set of 6's might do something like this, but for his 3-bet over our turn raise, I think we need to slow down and look him up.We can't fold on the turn, and raising could be disastrous. That's why I reason that calling is best.
