I don't know if I will change any of these opinions when I see the ESPN coverage, but what I took from the Main Event Final Table was that:- I can't remember Gold getting big money in as a dog and sucking out- I do remember Gold getting big money in as a favourite and getting sucked out on- AC played well for a while and then tailed off- If I was Gold and had the chips and a chance to take the best player out, I probably would have taken it- Gold played the best at the final table. I may have disliked him personally, but he deserved to winYou people are whining

I'll have to re-download the torrent to check, but I'm fairly sure that in the hand in question, the other player pushed all-in and Gold called, and as he was calling he said "top-top". If I'm wrong, and Gold pushed and announced his hand, then yes, that's wrong, but that's not how I remember the hand going down. I didn't think he did anything wrong at the time.

Didn't the "top top" comment come only after the guy had pushed and Gold said something like "I have top top, I have to call"? I didn't think he announced his hand before the guy pushedand there's nothing wrong with him saying "don't worry I'll show" ?

HiI would have liked to hear him speak after he busted. I'm sure Matusow felt like it was the end of the world last year but he still gave interviews afterwards.
