What I'm having trouble with is the motivation for his killing. If it was a hit, and I admit that it certainly looks like one, why would the DNC do it? For retribution? For future deterrence? That only works if the people you want to scare know that you're responsible. And the people that believe the DNC are responsible are all Republicans, so it's having no real effect in that way.
