I just wanted to say thank you to the folks that have chipped in with advice on getting through my rather bad streak recently.I am now more confident to start again and get back to the basics ! I am going to play on Pacific Poker and really get some decent play in to improve my confidence which has taken a battering recently.I honestly thought I was invincible.

Thanks for the advice, for those that dont know I built $400 into $8000 on Party Poker but have had a few problems recently that have made me lose the plot. God bless.

Hello,I know some of you may think I am a big head and thought I was ready to go pro.After getting by bank roll to around $9000 I have had a terrible month and have lost about $7000 of this.This was mainly due to playing high stake SNG'sPlease can I have your opinions on how I get back on the right track.And not the obvious 'Dont play high stake SNG's' please.Thanks.

Hello,I am sick of the morons on this site that have busted me. Yes I am sulking. Blinds at 100/50. Everyone is pretty much the same in chips, arounbd 10o0.I raise in the cut off to 200 and small blind goes all in, big blind folds.I call his all in bet with AKo and he shows the monster q9 (sooted, diamonds) !!Needless to say he hits his flush.He then goes on to say that he had to make a move ! I would say in my opinion is is sustainable to keep thesse profits going. I dont think you will place in the money to the extent you have been but it is defiantely possible to maintain making profit playing these tournaments.The thing that I did that has cost me a massive chunk of my bank roll is moving up to the high stake games too quickly ($100 and $200 SNG's). I got greedy and have learnt my lesson !!!!!A very expensive lesson it has been I can tell you.Basically I started on Party with $400 and got upto $8000.This has now nearly disappeared from me being greedy and wanting to make >

I'd freak out of all of the sudden a vegas dealer started shuffling the cards left in his/her hand after the first 2 were dealt. U cann't hate on everyone for being a successfull poker player... but i got pretty censored on party yesterday.. dude called my raise pre flop and on the flop i had pocket kings he had 3-4 of clubs flop came out x x x no clubs no help for him... bet 5 dollars... HE CALLS.. and sucks out 2 pair on the turn and river.. that kind of play makes me angry.. but its part of poker.. cause i know i have delivered my share of bad beats as well as taken them.... sometimes people get censored and call me a fish i say censored em.. cause i have been playing to long to listen to som

Yep. That, sir, would be the correct attitude. I remember once I posted in the strategy section about wanting some help with various assorted strategic things and I had several pm's from forum members offering help; offering to look over hand histories and what not. Anyone here is willing to help you good sir. Valuable resources. Use em.Good point.
