Today I got AIMed twice by two yahoos wanting cash on Poker Stars. I told them to go **** themselves. Am I the only one with these bastards hitting them up for cash?
-
Well it is not technically illegal, it is a gray area that is under debate. I also don't know of any poker sites that would front you money so that you could possibly owe them anything.
-
how many tables have you played at once?

Since when is $561 cheap? That is the current price of the 2001FP on the dell website. I looked up 19 inch CRTs there as well and they have one for $194 capable of running 1792x1344. So you could get 3 CRTs for the price of just one 2001FP. -
smasharoo!!! or any other limit he players...

This is incredibly off. You rarely see an online table dealing more than 60 hands per hour, and at non-speed tables I would say that the max you could get is around 75 for full ring. So if you assume that you have been dealt 75/hr/table that is 3600 hands tops. You have made 500BB in 3600 hands which is 13.8BB/100. This is nowhere near sustainable and you have been running very very hot. So just be careful when the downside to variance comes around, and don't overestimate your skills because these stats dont mean anything other than you are running very well. -
Smasharoo, in a thread of redundant and useless posts you take the cake. Your useless 1 or 2 word responses add nothing to the forum and only serve to irritate people like me who are seeking advice on this book. Also I'd like to point out that "Ummm no" isn't a valid response to a statement that began with "I didn't find". Are you implying that I didn't think that or do you just not have enough of a grasp of the English language to understand that I was stating an opinion?

I didnt find WLLHE to be weak tight at all. It seemed to mesh very well with the playing style I had already learned which is almost overly aggressive.
-
You guys are completely useless. Two people have asked how SSHE compares to WLLHE and if there is anything of note that SSHE covers that is not covered in WLLHE. But noo you all sidetracked the god damn thread with a bunch of reitterations of the same crap "dude it will help your NL game too" "seriously dude it helps for NL" "dude its good for NL" instead of answering the one pertinent question asked in the thread.

Yeah he's going to pawn off all his chips by betting a hand that is only going to be beaten by quads in this situation. Right... -
How does Small Stakes HE compare to Winning Low Limit HE? I got WLLHE about a week ago and read through it once and picked up a few things, but mostly it just clarified a lot of things I had learned from reading forums and playing lots and lots of hands.

Full Tilt had very low traffic. Finding a game at the SnGs above 10+1 is tough and their MTT's dont seem to have very big fields either, which I suppose is a double edged sword. I'd suggest UB because of the higher traffic.

1/220 doesnt mean you have to see 220 hands to see AA. It just means that you can expect to get AA about once in every 220 hands. -
you know you're playing a fish when he says...

My favorite instance was playing .5/1 on Stars the other day.I have AA and EP raises, I 3 bet, SB caps and EP raiser calls. Flop is 46A with 2 spades. SB bets, EP raises, I reraise, SB caps, EP folds. Turn is a 9, SB bets I raise, SB raises, I cap. Turn is the 8 of spades. SB bets, I raise, he 3- bets and I call. He shows 103 of spades for the flush. When the whole table laughed at him and asked why he was capping, he says " thats how you are supposed to play a flush draw idiots" -
did i just stumble onto something very profitable?
blackize replied to PrtyPSux's topic in General Poker Forum
With Sit and Gos there is less money to be had but you will also lose less to the rake. Depending on what site the Heads Up SnG is at and the structure there, there may be significantly more variance. -
In stud yes you play according to the ante. But for holdem in a loose game things are different. Every book I have read and expert's advice I have seen has said to loosen up in loose games. But I guess those of you who are incapable of switching from TAG to LAG wouldnt understand. I can change my game up to what is most profitable at a table, and Im telling you if you play too tight in a loose game you will not get the most money off the table that way. Yes you can make money by only playing AA KK QQ AK and AQ when you have position, but to maximize your winnings at a loose table you must loos

Read a book. Loosening up slightly in loose games is the way to make money.
