Update - Just Played The Wsop Circuit Event #1 At Caesers Indiana
Limit replied to trohsc's topic in General Poker Forum
I am also going down on Saturday, but will most likely be playing only cash games. Was there a large variety of games, or mostly just NLHE? I was hoping to play Omaha Hi/Lo, or limit holdem, between 5-10 and 10-20. Did you happen to see if they were spreading anything is this range? Thanks,Limit -
What limit games does Majestic usually have spread? And if anyone has any idea about the quality of play, that would be helpful. Thanks,Limit

I would not mind the drive to Chicago, about 2.5 hours, if I knew there would be a game going. I just don't want to drive over there to find one table that breaks up an hour after I get there. Limit

I have been out of poker for over a year now, but want to play some live limit next week. I will be in north-eastern Indiana and willing to drive a few hours. I want to play at least 4-8, and up to 8-16. So where do I have the best chance of finding multiple tables in these limits running? I went to Greek Town a while back and they only had 1-2NL and 3-6 spread. I know that Soaring Eagle had 6-12 a year ago, but I heard that it has went mostly to 1-2NL as well. Anyone with knowledge about the rooms in Chicago would be appreciated. It's hard to find what limits are usually spread online

Where Did The Thread Go On Mansion Sportsbook

Forgive my ignorance of sports betting. Does Pk mean no spread? Thanks -
As was mentioned in an earlier thread, gamesgrid is offering a 1000% bonus on first time deposits. They also brag that it is very doable and fast. This seems to good to be true, so before I deposited I thought I would see if any of you have played there or have heard anything about them. Thanks

"Cincinatti Kid" is hands down the best poker movie. It blows Rounders out of the water. Not only is it a great "poker" movie but it has excellent acting and subplots. Comparing Rounders or Maverick to Cincinatti Kid is discracing it. It is definately worth seeing even if you don't like poker.

Although this is a well know statistic I think that it bears repeating in this thread. You only make a flush with suited cards about 1 in 20 times. An this is not a garuntee of scooping, althought the likely hood of a fullhouse or four of a kind is unlikely, especially with atleast three to a suit on the board. Just a thought, personally I would NEVER cold call two bets with ace suited. Ofcourse if I had AK I would raise and depending on other things maybe with AQ. I feel that playing a weaker ace suited is just opening up the door to marginal situations. And marginal situations are what

My brother just got pokertracker a little while ago and put all his Party hands in it. There were a little more than 7000. He basically plays for a living and does pretty well. What I thought was so interesting is out of the 7000 hands he on cold called a raise preflop 11 times. I think that says alot about how stupid it is to be calling raises preflop.

What really surprised me is how Shulman really calls out Beal."This is not equitable, and Beal knows it. It’s simply his way of showing the world that he’s the aggressor who wants to play by forcing the Brunson group into a defensive position where they have no choice but to say “No.” Beal is the one who killed it; not Brunson."Shulman really portays Beal in a bad light.

I was thinking about using pokertracker on UB. Pokertracker.com says that it is pretty simple to use some other program to enter hands into the tracker and I was wondering if any of you have used pokertracker for UB? Is it easy?I also know some one with a code, can I use the same one or would this cause problems, other than being a low life, and dishonest piece of scum? Thanks

I think that you must have meant 50 sng's. I would say that 500 is impoosible. Unless you were playing five at once for fourteen hours a day.
-
How many sit and goes do you guys think are nessecary to decide the profits or losses are not subject to variance? Any of you SNG pros have any ideas? Thanks
-
Another question:About how many buy'ins did you have when you moved up in limits? Did you have a set amount or did you just move up when you felt you could be the next level? Thanks
