hmm... i missed this thread too. i completely disagree with whoever said life aquatic was one of the worst movies ever. i love life aquatic.1 movie that is one of my favorites, and I think one of the best of the last ten years that a lot of people dont seem to like is Mulholland Dr. Naomi Watts gives one of the best acting performances ever

has anyone else seen the documentary on Rove called "Bush's Brain"? I always knew he was an evil genius, but this movie really shows the levels of his faustian power

i dont really think it is in bad taste, but it wasn't really funny either. i guess i would have to pick funny though if it was an either/or thing. i dont feel bad for famous people who get hurt doing something like riding a motorcycle without a helmet

what books are everyone reading currently and recommend? i recently finished Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance again, and that is always a good read. Also, "smashmouth" by dana milbank is a good read for anyone interested in campaign politics

I really don't appreciate you guys talking about my wife like this. Seriously.

i'm glad someone remembered the rachel leigh cook one for drugs.another great one i just thought of was one that they have been showing recently about protecting kids from online predators. it's a little girl online setting up a meeting with a friend. then they flash to the friend and it is the skeeziest looking old hermit guy with the most ridiculous beard and pervert smile ever saying in a demented voice "i can't wait". kills me every time

i personally love the over dramatic commercials that are issue oriented (like drugs, spousal abuse, etc.)the best one i can think of at the moment is one that has been running for like ten years where i am from. it is a shot of a little kid playing with a toy truck on the stairs as you can hear his dad yelling at and hitting his wife because she ordered pizza instead of cooking him dinner. its hard to do it justice in words, but i find it really funny

i dont know if anyone did any of these, as i didnt go through the whole thread, but here goes a list of some of my favorite lines:Marge: Quick, someone perform CPRHomer: Uh... (singing) I see a bad moon rising.Homer: He called me green horn, I called him Tony Randle. It was a thing we had.Homer: Badger my ***, it's probably Milhouse.anything that comes out of groundskeeper Willie's mouth

the best part about the zabka autograph, is that he was a total prick when he gave it to me, just like every movie role he has ever had.
-
i am proud to say i have a zabka autographed copy of Karate Kid on VHS. i would say it is my second favorite autograph after my peewee's big adventure poster, signed by peewee and tim burton

yeah, those stupid rules that make soccer the most strategic and tactical team sport on the planet are a real drag...

my teenage years would be 95-01, so...Boogie Nights- still my favorite movie of all timePoint Break- came out earlier than 95, but this is the movie i probably watched the most times in this time periodthe rest of the movies that i rewatched incessantly as a teen are from the 80's (big trouble in little china, beverly hills cop, the lost boys)

are you just looking at things in the room and saying that's what math is?
