I was playing at a 100/200 table in vegas and he just happened to sit down a couple seats away from me.If someone checks dark to you and then you do it right back they will go to the next card (I have done this once). The best way I have found to combat players that check in the dark is to make a midsize bet no matter what the flop brings to gauge how string they are.I'm from Omaha, but I am one of the few people here that is not a diehard Husker fan. I recently ran into david williams at a table and I came away very impressed with his play. I didn't get involved in any big pots with him, but I was able to observe him abuse some of the other players at the table. He didn't make any mistakes that I saw or fall for any traps. With this experiance on top of his tournament success since the main event, I am really starting to believe that this guy is the next "big thing" in poker. Anyone else have any thoughts on Williams?

I won my seat for the main event in a tournament sponsored by a local casino. I am hoping to build up my bankroll so I can buy into some more events. I want to try and play all of the O and O8 games, since those are my best games.
