  1. What a coincidence I'm a recent college grad and currently looking for a "real" jobAlso FWIW fan(internet) voting would obviously be the method of selecting the players worthy, and the outfits.
  2. maybe if they had an "all star" game with the 2% of the league that we would enjoy seeing in skimpier outfits.....
  3. Chances Men the master starts at 133,000 in chips instead of 63,000?glglglgl Daniel
  4. Not much detail on villain he had just sat down with his "this is all that's left of my bankrool let's try to tilt double it" stack of like $41.35 (which made me drool of course)FWIW I kinda followed swoly's thinking on this one I called the flop (obv) and shipped the turn.
  5. Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (2 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comBB ($37.05)Hero (SB) ($50.70)Preflop: Hero is SB with A , 10 Hero bets $1.50, BB calls $1Flop: ($3) 5 , 10 , 4 (2 players)BB checks, Hero bets $2.50, BB raises to $7.50, Hero calls $5Turn: ($12) 9 (2 players)BB bets $7.50ok so first off what do we think of the c/r on the flop is it ok to call here?and if we dont fold there what do we do when that turn card hits if im calling the flop there do I have to call turn?
  6. 1.) Its the cubs2.) Morneau's hurt so he cant choke in the clutch 3.) 2 GB 4.) the team ahead of the twins doesn't have Albert Pujols
  7. no, which is basically the point I make...I just mentioned it in reference to some people overthinking a raise like this from the buttonmy fold was basically based on the ranges I would assign to an unknown in that situation shoving 22BB
  8. FoldI hate 99 here we dont have a significant chip advantage and villain just shipped 22BB.. Yeah its from the button and yeah he could have 66-88 here. But more often than not he has AJ+ and TT+ which represents a far larger portion of his range. I don't think villain is doing this with ATC and I don't like the idea of at best flipping the majority of the time in this situation.
  9. Its no big deal man I'm just back from the bar and I'd much rather have the people who got the lines up earlier fill their action before I get in it's only fair. If it looks like someone's willing to take alot of action on any of those I'll repost. Just trying to be a friendly degen weeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. fixedsill gonna look for action on Philly vs KC over 38.5 for $10
  11. lol cant say i've never triedTrue story i once hit a $5 to win 1350 or so 8 team MLB parlay one of my prouder degen sports gambling momentsshame you're gonna lose that first one
  12. And I can see why, must be incredibly enthralling for a hockey nut. I'd be lying if I said I'm not jealous. Thanks for the explanation guys!
  13. I must say 1.) I'm impressed with a league in which Budish and Leddy are worth roster spots2.) I'm impressed anyone outside of MN and their respective franchises knows who Budish and Leddy are3.) I'm not going to pretend to know any sort of rules or scoring for this pool but why in god's name is Bobby Ryan on the farm team?
  14. I'm looking at it solely from a profitability stand point here we are anywhere from 40/60 to 50/50 with an AAxx depending on the XX. assuming we can get the other two to fold we'll have a total pot of $40.4 ((2.60 x 2)+(17.60 x2)) of which we've invested 17.60. Therefore we need roughly a 43% chance of winning this hand for it to be profitable. If we ship and both call behind us we need to be good roughly 30% of the time which we certainly wouldn't be tremendously under 30% but I don't wouldn't want the callers behind necessarily. I think the problem with this hand is the 3-bet in all honesty
  15. FWIW if you're gonna limp here i think a raise is in order. As played I'm calling a bet from the blinds If checked to me I'm probably leading out 75% of the time and checking with intention of raising 25% Action on the turn depends on how many/what positions are left in the pot....Now I'll wait for someone far more qualified than myself to explain why I'm wrong
  16. At this point I feel like the rest of our stack is going in on the flop often enough where its worth it just to shove pre to atleast try to isolate. FWIW even if all 3 call I'm not really upset I'd just rather have a 40-50% shot of raking this pot heads-up. Or a 20-35% shot of raking a potentially 300-400 BB pot.
  17. GG get it next time may i ask what form of the poker you were playing?
  18. scottyno (anyone else confirm that name?)I believe he even advertises razz coaching try PMing him even if you're not interested in coaching I'm sure he'd be willing to give you some better advice than me about how to start.as far as getting started the best way to learn is to play the game IMO. take advantage of low cards up on 3rd (especially aces). Try and keep track of what has been show to you. Be aware of when players could have paired their under cards. To start try and stick to hands where you start drawing to a 7 or 8 low. Try not to go insane when you start pairing or drawing faces o
