  4. I was just reading something recently that was saying how the problem with a flopped straight is that your hand can't improve... I'm not second guessing DN at all.. I'd of played this hand exactly the same, but the above comment does come to mind...
  5. It was a sick turn around for DN... Poker is a CRUEL and HEARTLESS mistress!!!ps - Grats Sloshr!!!

  7. Don't fall for it guys.. this is misinformation...DN is a hockey fan and EVERY hockey fan knows that when a player injures his ankle, the team will announce it's an upper body contusion or some other blatantly non-descriptive injury. So, if he's saying it's an ankle injury, it's most definitely not that... I say whack him hard across both wrists cause that's probably where he's hurting!!!I think it's funny how he's positioned himself though... if he wins he 'overcame' his injury to win.. if he loses, then sloshr took advantage of him being down...Sic em sloshr!!!
  8. yup, I think everyone is just procrastinating...
  9. I didn't think this totally sucked...Not saying it was a riveting read, but I did find it mildly interesting with enough interesting stuff to get me to the end... but what the heck do I know?!?!?

  11. I missed this for week 1 as well, but I'll be in for Week 2...Good idea, DN!!
  12. watching Hellmuth put his chips in when he's nearly dead is priceless!!!
  13. Another great promotion from the FCP Team!!!Thanks guys!!!
  14. I'm torn on this myself.Mike could be AWESOME on the show... or he could be an ACHOR... most of the time he was great for the show though... when he bothered to show up...It wasn't too hard to see this coming, but I am sad to see him go. I like the show with Gavin and Joe, but it doesn't have the same edge that did with Mike. Listening with Mike as a host is like watching a NASCAR race.. you know the wreck is coming, you just don't know when.... :)I'll still listen to the Circuit, but I'm certainly glad I've archived the shows, so I can go back and listen to those first couple show which were
  15. that's sucks... you have the right idea though.. let him enjoy his moment and bleed it back to you over the next couple weeks...
  16. Doh.... I missed this thread and started another... :huh:ANYWAY... I had seen him around but didn't know his history or contribution to the game as we now know it...I love the idea of dealing him in one last hand at the WSOP... that's VERY good!
  17. http://www.pokerplayernewspaper.com/viewarticle.php?id=1154I've heard his name... seen him at tournies.. but never knew his story... Thanks for being a pioneer in the poker world, Puggy!
  18. some great lines in here... nice form guys.. nice form.....
  19. Personally, I like it how it is... whoever gets DN, get's the bounty... the bounty is totally seperate from the results, like a side-bet or prop bet...Now, if DN gets in the money and wants to split up between the others at the final table or give it to the bubble person or give it to the winner or whatever.. I'm fine with that... however, I think it's most fair if he gets paid just like the rest of us... I don't see any need to trick it up... as somone else already said, DN and FCP_INFO already take care of a lot of stuff with the bounty (ok, DN just shows up, but still.. he's with us, when h
  20. it's not smack when you can back it up...losing team from our division gets renamed to Cupcakes next season...you like Cupcakes, don't you DN? ;)maybe CreamPuffs?ps - Go Dallas Stars!!!
  21. Grats DN... glad it's swinging the other way for you...Unfortunately, I'm on the opposite swing, as I had one of my worst live game sessions ever last night...
