I won't really miss the show, I'll probably never think about it again, but I really enjoyed it. I think the show was mostly bad, but I like the subject matter, and they did a really job portraying the nature of coke without making it preachy. The fact that the show made no sense is an extension of its dedication to the coke narrative. Nothing in the 70s and 80s made any sense, because everyone was on coke.

King's Landing was bittersweet for me. On one hand, Margaery Tyrell was a favorite of mine. On the other hand, the Mountain scored the most satasfying fictional rape on record. Speaking of people being kept alive as a forum of torture, does anyone remember that magician who Varys kept in a box or something? Did anyone ever address what happened to him when Varys fled east? The world needs to know. Edit: just rewatched that scene, and I guess I misunderstood it the first time. I'm torn on horse racing. On one hand, my partner thinks it's monsterous, and if I got involved, it might hurt our sex life. On the other hand, the kind of person who loves horses and wants to be around them, but also wants to torture them and endanger their lives for brief bursts of outdated spectacle is probably super weird in bed.

When I bought my first horse, I think my heart was in the right place, but I didn't really understand what I was doing. I assumed that as an act of Winning, I wanted the biggest, most expensive, showiest horses I could find. But I now realize that the most baller thing you can do in the horse world is adopt a shitty horse. I want to make it an urban trend for musicians and athletes to adopt horses who need multiple surgeries, not out of compassion but as a means of making it rain at the vet.

There are also losers who have nothing to live for and no other ideas about how to be cool.

The only intervention I've ever received was not for my drinking, drug use, debilitating poker obsession, or porn/sex addiction. It was over a 350 dual sport bike that I barely ever used. It's not hard to find stylists who make house calls. Having someone show up at the office to cut your hair while you work would be a baller move.

I think he is talking about the Roman-allied Goths displaced by the Huns kicking so much ass. I'm sure there are valid ways to place that within an immigration narrative, but certainly not one that paints it as in any way analogous to modern North American politics, and any writer who looks at that chain of events and focuses on liberal immigration policy as the primary cause of the first Gothic War -- let alone the fall of Rome -- is unlikely an actual historian.

Bo had basically outlasted Lebo's prime to become the best personality in sports, but all this GS hating has him in the dog house with me, for the time being anyway. Amin and Pablo are on that top tier too. They really need to cancel Russillo and Kanell and replace them with Pablo and the Stink. I mean, Greeny is a Jew and Golic is a bullying jock. It makes sense that you'd be biased against them too. Although they do happen to be horrendous.

Oddly, what made me post that was that I'm having trouble finding an AirBnB that I like that also has a bidet. The biggest problem with being a Winner is that it's difficult to maintain your lifestyle in other people's atrocious homes.

I often wake up at like 5:30 or 6 am to take a post-alcohol piss, take an A-bomb and go back to bed. When it kicks in, I wake up buzzing, empty-bladdered and ambitious, ready to get a jump start on a long day of Winning.
