  1. While I have a big hand, blinds are big as well. We gamble here or fold? No real reads other than UTG has not done this pretty often (been quiet).PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 16 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds 25 Ante (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands ReplayerAvii (MP2) (t1740)CO (t1245)Button (t1900)SB (t1350)BB (t1560)UTG (t2290)MP1 (t3415)Avii's M: 3.66Preflop: Avii is MP2 with A , Q UTG bets t800, 1 fold, Hero (t0) ?

  3. I kind of always forever suck in this situation. What do we do here? Does an average villain always have some sort of an A here? 5. Tnx for the advice guys.I called allin in this spot however. Turns out the initial raiser was stealing (or got away when the perceived ISO raise hit).I did also win the pot. I wondered if I was being results oriented or not.
  6. hahaha I never liked this bellande character.he's pretty much a dirty player, and will do anything to get "reads", watch him vs. sam grizzle in the NBC HU for a sample of his antics.and now, not only is he a dirty dirty player, but also an incredibad player. I don't usually hate on anybody, but if I did, this guy would be a deserving one imo.
  7. nice thread lurbz. i will be following it closely.i wonder if at some point i could make a profit goal like that as well, and what would be realistic.
  8. He's playing it fast, so whatever he has he likes it, even thoough there is a nonzero chance its a complete bluff. If we were to shove in that hand, it should have been pre to steal. We getting married here run the risk of losing our entire prize pool equity, leading to a very grateful BB shorty next hand...Anyway, that's just my humble opinion.
  9. No real use betting there, as the three stacks are relatviely equal, with shorty being in the BB with exactly 2BB's the very next hand. Passivity rules here imo, seek a showdown as cheaply as possible.
  10. The situation looks dire. I have an awesomely low stack. Many players like their cards pre here.Assuming in a vacuum, should I be joining the party here? What hands should I be calling here with? Or is it fold of like 1005 of my range?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 16 Tournament, 200/400 Blinds 25 Ante (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands Replayersaw flopSB (t6095)Avii (BB) (t1120)UTG (t1770)Button (t4515)Avii's M: 1.60Preflop: Avii is BB with 9 , 10 1 fold, Button bets t1200, SB raises to t6070 (All-In), Hero (t695) ?
  11. Should I just have kept betting turn instead of checking? As played, fold or shove? Mind the stacks.Villain seemed propense to call pre raises a ton, but first time I clashed with him. He got his stack by winning pre allins early on, standard fare.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 6.5 Tournament, 50/100 Blinds (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands Replayersaw flopButton (t3940)SB (t2975)BB (t1385)Avii (UTG) (t3215)MP (t1055)CO (t930)Avii's M: 21.43Preflop: Avii is UTG with Q , A Avii bets t250, 2 folds, Button calls t250, 2 foldsFlop: (t650) 8 , 7 , Q (2 players)Avii bets t350, Button c
  12. Thnx for the responses guys.I pussied and just folded. In retrospect, he was trapping, as he had QQ.I wondered how bad the limp after was, in a honestly non-results oriented way.
  13. Shorty was involved in a few fisticuffs earlier that left him crippled. Here he shoves for about 7x into limpers, which is probably indicative of a range of any broadways, most pairs etc. What intrigues me is the caller though, why do you call such a large bet with action behind? Chances on the trap being set? Also, chances on him simply playing bad? Or me?What should we do with our hand here? Also, what is the accepted range to shove here?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 22 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands ReplayerUTG+1 (t1470)MP1 (t1250)Avii (MP2) (t253
  14. Tnx for the replies guys.I folded, and despite not seeing the cards (shorties folded too!) I felt pretty bad about it.
  15. Tnx for the replies guys, good to know that I played it well!
  16. Up until this point of the match, villain has not shown anything remarkable, so we could safely assume he's a standard tight reg. First time in this match that he openshoved UTG though. What should our range be here calling/shoving? Call/fold/shove as played?I have better reads on villain, but these materialized after this hand, so bringing them up now should be irrelevant.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 38 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands ReplayerBB (t1325)UTG (t1765)MP1 (t2130)Avii (MP2) (t2645)CO (t840)Button (t3960)SB (t835)Avii's M: 8.82Preflop: Av

  18. What kind of game is this? 45-mans? 90-mans? 180? Some smaller buyin GTD tourney? In a vacuum, I'm probably betting 750~850 ish on that flop, and ship the rest at the earliest opportunity.
  19. Tnx for the replies guys.I just couldn't see me shoving with such a high M while two shorties can technically just sit there and reach the money. You would need to 3bet pretty big pre too to get a loose-ish bigstack to fold. And 3betting big to fold to a pre shove in this spot is pretty meh.Ha, I guess that nothing is correct here? Meaning it does not really matter what you do pre? In such a case, fold and be bullied seems to be the best option.
  20. I kind of suck in this specific bubble situation, when I have a hand that has showdown value, but it's very risky to take it to showdown. WWYD? Assume generic reads, such as bigstack is a general luckbox, standard levels of aggression, and villain perceives hero as a respectable opponent.Do we always shove prelfop? Should be shove flop as played? K/F flop?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 11 Tournament, 75/150 Blinds (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands ReplayerUTG (t5155)Button (t2245)Avii (SB) (t3610)BB (t2490)Avii's M: 16.04Preflop: Avii is SB with J , J UTG bets t450, 1 fold, Avii
  21. Tnx for the replies guys.I was not sure about betting the flop, because we have a gutshot draw to the potential nuts. I went ahead and bet anyway, guessing that the stacks may be to deep to warrant not betting.I did call the river and got shown 4s5s for the made flush, making me wonder if I did it wrong.
  22. Reads: I have been running over the table with some crazy, laggy play. I haven't been caught bluffing yet though. 23. This guy has coolered the shit out of a few opponents, and has been opening 3x for most every other hand. In hudbot terms, he had to have been at least a 50% VPIP with high aggression, always opening for 3x.What do we do here? Look at other stacks as well as the situation as a whole; while calling to see a flop may be the "safest" play, I would hate to play my pokat tens as I would play 56s.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 11 Tournament, 50/100 Blinds (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands ReplayerUTG (t5173)MP (t1757)Avii (Button) (t4995)SB (t645)BB (t930)Avii's M: 33.30Preflop: Avii
