  1. This one had me laughing hysterically. After winning with a boat the two fish say:"77 hits more than any other set, statistically""it couldnt give me the damn flush"
  2. lmao, well as you probably already know from the blog the cards were so bad today I thought about going to find a new "lucky" shirt, or better yet find someone who could sell me a tin foil hat. It was a lot of fun though, and it didn't cost me very much to play. I keep thinking back to that guy who I played with in the Main event who could not even crack a smile. When I saw him frowning all day, I thought about all of you on the forums who tried to win a seat and didn't. I said to the guy man do you know how many people would die to be in your seat, and your spending the day looking like y
  3. For all of your griping I hope that you at least had a stake in the main event, otherwise I say shut up, and talk about something that your involved in, then leave the real poker to the big boys.
  4. I guess you missed my blog yesterday, where I talked about a table in the $1000 event which had TJ Cloutier, and Humberto Brenes. I don't know about you, but anytime I have the opportunity to play against these guys I love the experience. I learned a lot from the WPT Super Satalite playing against Humberto, and besides all the guys at my table wondered why he recognized me lol.
  5. I went to college at UW Oshkosh which is the school he dropped out of a semester before I got there, the poker scene is Oshkosh was pretty good off campus because of him and it increased the flow of money into my bank account a lot just having him around. I never got too meet him, what was his name?I believe that his name is Todd, although I am bad with names so I could be wrong. Anyway, he obviously is a great player. I remember one Sunday watching him win the $650 WSOP Super Satalite, and play the final table of the $215 Sunday tourney. He definitely has what it takes to cross over into
  6. Not that it matters, but I would think that if they gave a bracelet for the 1500 from Sunday they will be giving a bracelet for these events as well, but the 200K plus first prize will be enough for me lol.
  7. Ok this time I promise, it is the last chance to win at this years WSOP. I won a seat for tomorrows 1,000 NL event. I start off at table 56 seat 6. Check out my blog for updates throughout the day.http://softwaretestwsop.blogspot.com/In addition, to the disasterous end to todays 1 K event. By the way, my Dad won a seat too. So far my Dad has paid a total of $10, to play two $1,000 buy in tourneys.
  8. Dude I was watching that dude who goes by the name of G6Dragon, on PS. I was really rooting for him, 22 years old playing great poker, not intimadated one bit by Mike the mouth two seats to his left, but I heard that he busted out tonight. I think he would bring many more college fish in.
  9. If the event yesterday had a bracelet I would imagine that today does too. If it doesn't and I win I will use the cash to console me.
  10. I don't like the guy, but really thats exactly how I felt about it too. I can't believe that the people involved did not think about the obvious problems with such a bet, and by the way I heard this story from more than one dealer, so my sences tell me that it is true. The only problem with a dealer pulling cards though is that it would be a little risky with all of the cameras everywhere, and since phils table was the feature he had only about 8 to 10 cameras on him.
  11. I am not quite sure, but the dealers must hate whoever this clown is. (sw)
  12. So several of the dealers have told me that there was a pool going around amoungst many of the dealers for the main event. Whoever knocked Helmeuth out won the cash. I would be a bit pissed if I were Helmueth, but pretty funny none the less.
  13. Daniel I will still take mine. Stop by table 20 tomorrow.
  14. Yes, there will be many pros playing. You have no idea what it feels like to walk away from the main event after getting knicked out, and these pros want blood just like I do. By the way I noticed that ESPN, will be broadcasting each day one of the main event as a seperate show. I would be very surprised if my bust out doesn't make the cut, it was pretty funny (for everyone else at least lol). Although I do have to contend with Elmo so who knows.I wouldnt, especially considerind it wad day 1If they showed every river bad beat, it would be 3 hours long. Im not saying it wont, Im just saying

  16. By the way, the tournament director made an announcement that anyone caught stalling repeatadly will have a shorter time clock to make decisions.
  17. Just like I said in one of the other threads, I had heard that Gus won a boat load of cash the other night. Well over a million.By the way the cash games are really great. Each table has at least a few tourists, who after standing on the rail for the main event, decide that it is there time to take a shot.
  18. I heard that he won a boat load in a cash game the other night. Guess Gus aint broke no mo.
  19. Actually he made it to day 2, so he outlasted you, sorry to rub it in :-)Oh ok, now I feel better. I read that as five hours into day one not day two. I didn't think that Dan played a hand for the first five hours so I didn't know how it would be possible to blind off 10 K in chips.
  20. I actually heard this morning from a friend who says that they don't. I will track down a tournament director today, and find out. Man I want one of those bad. I was talking to Dan Druff last night, and I knew I had heard about him, but didn't know why. I ask the guy so how is the series going for you, when he pulls up his sleeve to reveal his WSOP Bracelet. I was blown away. Man that thing is a conversation peice. By the way he is a super nice dude, and is definitely someone that I could find myself rooting for.
  21. I would love to see someone do this with no mistakes. I wathced these guys in action and the job is no easy feat. While the final tables may be a little easier to keep track of, they don't hold up the games so people can get accurate recounts of the hands. On top of that they are trying to get the upsates out in real time. How much would you wager that you wouldn't make any mistakes?Yep, people have no idea what it is like playing the main event. It is nothing like any tournament that I have ever played, and I have played some other high profile events. The rail is lined with two rows of peop
  22. hahahaha, good choice. Very good choice.CTSeriously though, I started cracking up, thought about it for a second, and folded. I would have definitely gotten the pinch pinch dance on ESPN. Maybe tuesday, although I don't think they are taping that event.
  23. Olga Varkonyi $222,000, yep the 2002 Champions wife. Would that be sick or what.
  24. Damn I outlasted Dan, his book goes in the trash when I get home (sw). I hope that he is around down there, I would like to get the scoop on how he was busted within five hours. His style lends itself to at least hanging around for a while, but like I always say: "No limit is like juggling chainsaws".
  25. I think Farha will make the Final table, man that guy has a stack of chips, and a smile from ear to ear. I am so jelous.
