thanks all.very valueable comments indeed.in hindsight, i definitely should've given up on the turn. I have since learnt to give up 10 10 and JJ even preflop near the bubble unless vs a extremly loose player with short stack.

fair enuff.. bet more on flop.. if they call.. then give up? i still cant see myself checking the turn though...my main concern probably isnt about my own play.. but their flat calling on that flop.. cost me my stack.. like i said.. any reraise at any stage i could've gotten away.one of my question here is.. if u were any of the other 2 players.. would u have played the same way they did??i feel like JJ probably could've given up with his position...KK obviously had the winning hand.. but if i were him i would've check raised all in on the flop.

a bit more info on the hand..chip leader had about 80k in chips..both me and the other guy had 40k+blinds were i think 600/1200it was raised to 3600, then i made a flop bet of 8600 leaving myself with about 30k... i then bet 20k into the turn.. and the rest was history. =(i jsut felt that if any of them had reraised at the flop or turn.. i would've gotten away from the hand.. to me it was a combination of "bad/weird plays".. the Jacks were probably in the best position to fold his hand.. and i probably should've given up on the turn... just wanna hear more oppinions on the hand. if u were any

Hi, this is a hand i recently played online and i'd like to hear comments on how the hand was played, what i could've or should've done better.It was the last 50 or so in a decently sized online tournament, we were about 5 or 6 spots to the cash.I was top 5 in chips, sitting comfortably waiting for the money.UTG chip leader made a standard raise 3 x BB.i was 3 spots off with 10 10.. i figure it was a not strong enough hand to reraise with, but surely good enuff to see a flop.Button also calls. he was similar in chip size to me. everyone else folds.Flop comes 4 4 2 - i think there was a spade f
