  1. Smallball only makes your penis look bigger, doesn't make you any better at poker.
  2. Hope everything turns out OK for you. FUCK CANCER!
  3. Do you know what a Step 6 is? Yes, bad beats happen to us all but when they happen in certain situations they sting a little more. Don't be such a douche, seriously.Tough luck on the hand OP, I'm sure something was smashed. Hopefully no kittens!
  4. You can only use the add-on if you are still playing at the break. If you don't choose to rebuy after you bust, you are out of the tournament. Play very tight early in these as most will be setting there money on fire.
  5. 55 is your lucky hand, obviously. Never fold it again and get it tatooed on your ass.
  6. Isn't Rich Gannon an announcer for CBS? If so, why in the world is he doing this? I've seen this show a couple times and thought it was garbage. Has it improved at all?
  7. Best: Mississippi RiverWorst: Mississippi River
  8. 1. Get staked and cash so I don't have to play freerolls anymore.2. Get a Weekly Round 2 ticket.3. Cash in the Weekly Round 2.4. Play better.
  9. Don't pull your hair out playing these freerolls.
  10. Lakers in 5, Cavs in 6. Lebron vs. Kobe Finals with Lakers in 6.
  11. From what I've seen of Gruden as an analyst on NFL Network he just didn't have it. He can't be any worse than Tony was on MNF though.
  12. I would do a stop and go, depending on the flop. Basically I mean if you want to flip for your tourney life right now go for it, but theoretically you still have plenty of BB's left for this not to be your last stand. Smooth call, and if the flop comes out low shove. If the A or K hits you can go quietly into the night and still have some wiggle room to play. All-in isn't the worst play, but there is always more than one way to skin a cat.
  13. Thanks for the responses, this really opens up the window for me when I'm reading the strat forums as before i was sort of lost. It's greatly apperciated, but one more question. Since I never play over the penny tables or a $3 MTT or SNG, would it be worth my while to purchase pokertracker since I'm not playing too often? Does anyone know how good the free trial is?
  14. OK, I am a recreational player and read the strategy forums here often to try and learn as much as I can to improve, but I am not familiar with "player stats" and what they mean when used to describe how someone is playing. For example, if an OP posts a hand from a cash game or a tournament and says "villian in this hand is running 47/23 for 17 hands" or something similar, What does this mean? Could someone break this down for me or point me in the right direction to find the answer? Thanks in advance for the help and good luck at the tables.
  15. Villian had AA and I was out, next time maybe it will be the other way around. Thanks for the feedback.
  16. OK, thanks for the responses everyone. A little update on my situation is in order I guess. In the last week have had the usual results did well in my single table SNG's and made a few deep runs in some micro MTT's including a final table. So now I have $94 which is not where I would have like to be as if a few of those deep runs in mtt's come out the other way I could have made way more, but still satisfied with having more than I did. Well, not really which is the basis of my next question. I love single SNG's and MTT's. The SNG's I feel the grind is just too much with the small payouts and
  17. Villian seems pretty TAG, not played much and when he does standard raises and continuations. 18. Thanks Waffles Mainly looking for NL Hold-em and PLO cash game help from an established player, and I understand about putting in work to learn and improve my game. I have played a few years, logged many hands and I am a decent player, I'm just looking for some coaching to help me see if there is anything I can do differently at the tables to profit to the max as I feel I sometimes leave extra money at the table.
  19. Hello all, I'm sort of new here and was wondering who were some of the top players in the forum were. Also, if its not too much to ask what are some of the screennames of these players and sites they play? The reason I want to know is so I can rail a little bit and try to learn from some proven players. Any coaches here? I would seriously be interested in some cash game guidance from a proven player as well. Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone.
  20. I usually don't play any cash games online, well I used to back in 2006 at UltimateBet $25NL before my long break. But I haven't played much if any cash games since I've been back which was July 2008 when I started back online at Pokerstars. Should I give the cash games a shot, I don't think I'm rolled properly to take the swings that the cash games will definitely bring. Any other thoughts on whether or not I should be trying cash games as well?
  21. They are probably going to have to deal either Hanson along with Jordan Schafer and either Yunel Escobar or Kelly Johnson to get Peavy but the way the Braves are talking they don't want to give up prospects. Only time will tell but I doubt they are going to get him for much less. If the Braves don't get a trade in and wait for free agency they will have to shell out alot to get a solid veteran arm in there IMO. But stranger things have happened so we will see.
