Ok, completely slow down anytime you are in a pot and any draw gets there.....even if the draw that gets there is a gutshot when you raised the previous streetSee how much value you lose out on.Either way I just can't see going broke with 9's and 5's on that turn in an unraised pot pre-flop, just too many possibilities. Maybe I'm in the wrong but that is just my opinion which is why we all post here to get many different views of hands. -
Learn to count outs, imo.The last 3 times i have gotten all my money in with this hand has been on the turn, each time they have one or two card outs and each time they hit. At this point it almost feels like i am playing against the site and not the players, and each of my last 5 sessions have all ended with me playing for about 3-1/2 hours and making good money then losing it almost all back in one hand. Having a very stagnant feeling about poker right now and feeling like the deck is out to rape me. lol. I know this is to be expected and is a part of variance, but just needed to vent. -

Rahme and Lam became Pokerstars 'pros' along with a few others from that table.The 4 month delay really hasnt done anything special when it comes to the endoresmentsDefinetely the satellite metaphor is an accurate one. Though nobody has thrived to the extent that Dennis Phillips has. Granted, there was some attention when Demidov made his run in the WSOPE Main Event, but almost everyone else has just been mentioned in passing. Sure you could earn a share of them on Stars, but media attention has largely ignored the rest of the field. -

I dont feel too bad, he played rather poorly. Constantly limping with hand like 76s, JTo and calling big raises. And like Chad pointed out he wasnt too hard to read.Not to mention what happened to Dean Hamrick is gross, QQ<AQ else Marquies(sp?) is bubble boy, then Hamrick goes out.you probably intended to call her an arrogant twatand what happened to Joe Bishop at the last two tables has to be the worst that anyone has ever run that deep in the Main Event -

That is super gay. Seriously. First blinds going up every 15 min AND after every elimination. Then, if you arent one of the first 50 you have to pay more? That is bullshit. Not being a shootout is terrible, too. Top 4 stacks instead of just doing a shootout?? Thats just dumb, though with the crapshoot structure, at least 8 tables will be down to 4 anyway.....cause of course, the avg stack with be 6xBB......This is excatly why very RARE to find a tournament with a good strutuce outside of a casino....everyone makes their structure incredibly fast because having a good, slow structure....'takes forever'/rant*Beer and Pizza will be available*Blinds go up every 15mins for first 3 Rounds, and once someone is eliminated*$100/person for first 50 players*$125/person thereafter*$150/night of eventkind of a weird poker tourny. It's only $100 so I'll join and just have some fun drinking and stuff. I asked the guy and you keep your chip stacks. It's not a shootout till 4 players are left. It's the top four stacks at the end of that time period. -

Probable, yes. Likely, no. Hero raised the flop hard. Hard to think put his opponent on a 7. Something like 87 or T7 i guess is possible, but more than likely you are still ahead here. You cant slow down everytime a gutshot gets there, or you'll ending up losing a lot of value and getting bluffed out a lotYeah, in an unraised pot pre-flop this is very probable. Isn't it?
