  1. You vastly underestimate how much money the high profile players are making in edorsements. Take Daniel, for example. He has sydicated columns, a video game, a website, he is "poker ambassador" for the Wynn, he (I think) endorses Poker Mountain, etc etc. Huh. I didn't realize it was THAT lucrative yet. Sports stars make millions in endorsements (the stars making more than they do from their team)--while poker players prolly make a rather small fraction of their income from endorsements. In either event--people need to use some tact.I totally disagree with you here. Daniel is making anywh
  2. LOL. PLEASE DON'T EVER POST HERE AGAIN. ENOUGH SAID FOR YOUR IDIOTIC COMMENT. IS THE WPT FAKE? JUST BECAUSE HE SUCKED OUT A COUPLE OF TIMES DOES NOT MAKE IT FAKE... HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN SUCKOUTS? OR DO YOU FORGET THE TIME A FEW WEEKS AGO WHEN DN PULLED THE MIRACLE ONE-OUT STRAIGHT TO KNOCK "THE GRINDER" OUT...WAS HE CHEATING? HAHAHAHAHHA
  3. No no no, none of that matters. All we have to know, is that he called 2 all-ins with 55, so he is a fish and a terrible player.Do I REALLY have to put [sw] after this??You are officially a moron. You don't know the situation, chip stacks, position, etc. so you can't say that it was a terrible call. He could have put his opponents both on over cards, which would make him a favorite, especially if he thinks they both have AJ AK AQ. When you win as much money as him then you can talk trash. I hate people criticzing pros play when they dont't hjave 3 cents to their name from poker winnings.
  4. LOL. He is NOT that new to the poker world. Last time I checked, he has 2 WSOP bracelets and is at the final table of another one today. He ain't that new buddy, but good try.
  5. LOL....I'm sure you have some high profile NFL friends. Don't we all.....Are they the 3rd and 4th string kickers for the Dolphins?
  6. i believe williams declared all-in on the river and raymer called with his boat. i'm almost certain. (i've been wrong twice before) :wink:Nope, sorry 8) Raymer looked at the dealer, kind of shrugged, and said "all in." Williams, who knew he was beat but pot-committed, threw up his arms in a reluctant call. The quick calls are Williams' specialty. He was (and still is) a very novice player; Raymer was beating the 300/600 at Foxwoods for a long time before the tournament. He amassed such a huge chip stack that there was just no chance for anyone to take him down after a while. If you think Willia
  7. You didn't go wrong here. You just took a semi bad beat, with trips to trips higher kicker. However, one thing that you must know is YOU NEVER SLOWPLAY FLOPPED TRIPS. Flopping trips is different than flopping a swt, and you never want to slowplay a hand like J10 with a JJ9 flop. Since you were first to act, you should have bet out a small pot sized bet to see where you are in the hand. If someone smooth calls, you might be able to put them on a 9 or a straight draw. If you are raised, you then have to consider the fact that someone might have a bigger J than you. If there was no preflop raise
  8. Smash-I love how you think you know everything about poker. Any time I see someone post something, you always say "No that play was horrible" or something to that effect. Isn't it true you play .50/1 micro-limits on pokerstars? Hhaha. I think it's funny that you think youre good cause you took your bankroll from $50 to $500. Wow. Congrats. Not that hard when you are playing tiny limits. When you start qualifying for a WPT event like Kurt, then you can talk and criticize people. Until then, shut up cause you ain't that good.
  9. Actually slappy, you are completely wrong. No one in their right mind would ever fold this hand, no matter what limit you are playing at. This is only a routine fold for the tightest of tight players. Give me your reasons for folding this hand. There were no pre-flop raises so you can't put the guy on AQ normally. The odds of him having the other queen are so slim. It hurt me when I read you folded this hand. Sorry, but that was one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen. You NEVER EVER EVER fold trips on the flop especially when there is only one of the cards left in the deck. wow.
  10. Why are any of you questioning Danny's play? He won the tournament, and none of you have the right to say what;s wrong with his play. We all know he would kill any of us heads-up, so let's congratulate him on the win, instead of analyze his play like any of you know what you're doing.
  11. that is a horrific fold by your buddy just thought id let u know.
  12. Stu Ungar died before Daniel was even known on the poker circuit. And of course he was that good. He won 3 WSOP Main Events and is mentioned by everyone as the greatest NL tourney player ever.
  13. What do you guys think are the most obvious online tournament poker tells? I
