My Cousin I thought you guys would enjoy it. I some times wish I could have punched some of my professors at Eugene like this guy did, I can completely relate. GOD Is Busy If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!! A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU. One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, GOD if you are real then I want you to knock me off

I called his flop bet because he was an extremely aggro fish.

Oh sorry, my bad.

I read about "Deep limping" in TJ Coultier's book. It seems kinda dangerous, and against pretty much everything I heard about "power poker". But I'm up for tryin' new things, and it worked like a charm here!PokerStars Game #1860610290: Tournament #943418555, $2.50+$0.25 Hold'em No Limit - Level II (15/30) - 2008/07/05 - 17:20:13 (ET)Table '94341855 49' 9-max Seat #1 is the buttonSeat 1: Soivek (2060 in chips) Seat 2: Fatty le Fat (1020 in chips) Seat 3: jackdack (1760 in chips) Seat 4: soreheid (2050 in chips) Seat 5: psiclopse (850 in chips) Seat 6: ToFo7722 (1595 in chips) Seat 7: cleanerch

He was really tight, and I though that his most likely hand to raise with from that position, but not re raise was either AK or JJ, both of which I'm way behind. If he has something like 1010, I'm way ahead. AQ is unlikely 'cause I had QQ, and he was really tight, so no other A10, or face sorta gut shots seemed likely. way ahead/way behind, imo. Didn't think a check would hurt if i was way ahead.

So I'm normally a NL tournament player, but I've heard that limit is soft, so i thought i'd give it a shot today. What did I do wrong here? Should I have called the river?PokerStars Game #185985656332: Hold'em Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2008/07/05 - 11:00:43 (ET)Table 'Auriga' 10-max Seat #8 is the buttonSeat 2: Swisher19 ($15.20 in chips) Seat 3: BoSox866 ($13.35 in chips) Seat 4: serpico320 ($5.65 in chips) Seat 5: Old_Pat_Fan ($9.25 in chips) Seat 6: mikey43 ($23.50 in chips) Seat 7: wakeup41 ($8.25 in chips) Seat 8: Galthran ($9.70 in chips) Seat 9: junn ($6.75 in chips) Seat 10: CptnNemo1

What does everyone think of the book?!? I've been thinking of amazoning it. A friend of mine called it the super system of small ball. That makes me curious, you know? Small ball seems like, the like opposite of the power poker that I play, but I love Daniel ( his reads are sick!) so I'll check it out, I think. Anyone read it?

I think you go all in preflop. Put maxium pressure on him. That way you can make KJ pay the max to beat you. After the flop I think you need to check it also move in. Betting the way you did, it allowed him to bluff you off the hand, which he obv did. Calling the river is a no brainer, imo. The only jack he could have is AJ, and you said he was a good player. Why would he call your preflop raise with AJ? He could have JJ, but you can't live in fear of quads. I think his action in this hand, the whole way through, points to AK or AQ ,and I really hope you didn't fold. Anyway, hope the han

I don't know, super system 2 was a let down. I was SO let down that Doyle didn't update the NL section. I mean, that's pretty much the only game I play, so it killed me that he didn't up date it. But I guess, it was hard for anything to live up to SS 1. My brother got it for me for my 16th birthday, and it changed my life! I pwned all my friends at our poker games after reading it. So SS2 was a let down, a big one.
