  1. Yes, I think Daniel is a good player. Is he a god as some people on this forum think? Not in my eyes . I strictly read this forum while playing on UB for the sheer entertainment.
  2. Does anyone know where we can get up to date standings?
  3. I know when I was at the Bellagio back in October I was at the next table and he was down a matter of 800,000 in just 2-3 hours of play. I do see how he can be down the 4mil if all he did is play the big game it doesn't take long in that game.
  4. I am a decent 10-20 player and don't want anyone to stake me. I play 2 or 3 times a month and have only 3 losing sessions in the last 14. I was just wondering what are the normal stake %'s? Pro's or otherwise. Just in case I get sick of my 60-70 a week grind.
  5. Blah, Blah , Blah. Who cares!!!! I will say this. If you take Chip and Doyle and put them in todays poker world in their prime IT WOULD NOT BE CLOSE. It is so easy these days for Barry to get a big game going while Doyle traveled the country sometimes getting heldup at gunpoint to find a game . I would love to know how much Doyle has won and then lost at gunpoint during his life. DOYLE IS THE MAN!!!!
  6. Online play, no matter how much, does still not teach you how to play the game 100%. I myself think I am a 5 or 6. What is keeping me from getting better is getting to the casino 1 hour and 45 minutes away. The first time I played in a real tournament($220 buy in at Harrah's in E Chicago) it was night and day as far as live to online. But I don't know if playing 40hrs a week in live play will make you great either. You have to be a sponge at whatever table you play at and not all people will be a 8,9, or 10 no matter how long they play.
  7. Going again in October. Where should I look for the best deals?
  8. All I have to say is OH MY....My OH MY....dick enberg has gotta go
  9. Phil is a class act. At the Bellagio last October I was playing10-20 and my table was the last in the rotation for the dealers before they went to the big table. They were all complaining that dealing there sucks not only because they don't tip but also because they berate them so much. Most all of the dealers did agree though that Phil Ivey was the best at the table(tipping and treatment wise) of the whole table which consisted of Ivey, Farha, Hanson, Harmon, Reese, Greenstien and a Eastern player I don't know his name but have seen him on tv before.
  10. I DOWNLOADED THE SOFTWARE AND SNOOPED AROUND A LITTLE FOR NOW. THERE ARE MANY VALID PROS AND CONS LISTED SO FAR IN THIS FORUM. I AM CHOOSING TO KEEP MY MONEY IN UB FOR NOW BUT WILL CHECK BACK OFTEN FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO DEPOSIT MY MONEY. I HAVE LITTLE DOUBT THAT ALL OF THE CONS WILL BE WORKED OUT AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING DANIEL IN OCTOBER AT THE NEW POKER ROOM(HOPEFULLY THERE ARE NO 10,000 BUY INS SOMEWHERE THAT WEEK) IN VEGAS 8)
