Unfortunately its the only place I can go since I work at the Horseshoe. Yeah it's been awesome since Majestic raised the 1/2 to a 1/3 with a $300 max buy in. Same bad players but with more money in front of them. Played last week and ran $200 to $1,000 in 3 hours. My other alternative is to go to Potowatami in Milwaukee. The 3/5nl game there is super soft and I love the 5/10 PLO there.

Went to the local shelter today to maybe get our puggle a playmate. I'd say out of 20-24 dogs that were there a good 16 of them were pit or pit mixes.

I deal 2-5nl to her. She wins more than she loses, but there are MANY fish there playing 2-5.

Rooting for Edward Ochana. I deal to him at the Shoe all the time. Nice guy would be cool if he won or at least makes the final table.

You can sign up by phone for the heads up tourney only by calling the Venue at 219-473-6060. You must have a Total Rewards card and credit card with matching name to sign up. As of now there is 25 registered for the 64 person event.

I'll find out at work Wed night how many are signed up for the Heads Up but they expect it to be sold out quickly so I'll let you know.

With the decline of dealers I was thinking of trying to work out there this year and play in some Ceasars tourneys or V Deep Stack. But from the stories I've heard about scheduleing and the declining payrate I am still on the fence.

They redid Benny's in the main lobby to be kinda sports barish. Added some plasmas, redid the menu and put in a bar. But it's a bit far from the poker room.
