One of the reasons I think MMA and Poker will continue to grow is that the "stars" of both sports understand where their bread is buttered. It seems like anyone who has a personal contact with Fedor, Rampage, Wanderlei or Daniel, Annie, Jesus, etc. had a good story to tell about it. In a side game duirng the Main Event this week I made what I thought was the "right" decision and there was some heated debate at the table. No, I know they will have more presence during the Main Event, but even on the convention floor they didn't have a table or anything last year and I heard they were at different hotels, since Harrah's doesn't seem to be a big fan of on-line play. I was wondering if it is the same deal this year.

lol, neither company would sponsor me because of my poker accomplishments, that's for sure. It's just a publicity thing, can they get more free publicity than whatever sponsorship arrangements they would make. I have no clue about that, but one must assume that sometime around the end of this year's WSOP, no one will care whether I have a watch or what time it happens to be. My wife has stopped caring now, she keeps getting phone calls every day that start, "OMG, are you near a computer....".

okay, I have an email this morning that says Fedor's team just wants to "partially" sponsor me.My guess would be that they are more interested in being able to send out a press release and get some free publicity then they are of having me wear their stuff.If Pokerstars, Full Tilt, etc. sponsor you do they have to be your only sponsor, or how does that work?
