Pretty sure that I have heard that this is it for the WPT. The networks are not intersted in a show that will potentially fold up on them. Thats why it has bounced from the Travel Channel to the GSN. Hopefully High Stakes Poker stays on the air as it is a much better show.

Guys like DN wait all year for the WS events and the hopes of winning another bracelet. The more events that they can play in the better their chances of accomplishing it. I am sure that he will play events this year where he plays less than his best poker, probably not due to fatigue just due to making some poor decisions. Overall if he wants to win that next bracelet he will have to play in as many events as possible, tired or not.

Go with the Venetian, like some of the others have said get yourself a Club Grazzie players card and call in and get the Poker room rate. You can get the Bella Suite for $139 per night Sunday through Thursday. The pool is awesome and so are the clubs there. Best of all you can play poker and send your new bride to the Canal Shops and you both can be happy. Also get soem tickets to either the Phanton at the Venetian or Beatles Love across at the mirage. Although playing while I am drinking usually starts out very profitable, it usually ends with me drinking about 10 shots too many and having a losing session. Only time I drink and play is during my home games, these are generally live cash mixed games with $200 buyins and $1 - $2 blinds. At first the drinking makes my play very unpredictable and puts people on tilt as I tend to get paid off, but then it becomes very predictable with the drunk guy bluffing way too often. Best bet is to save the drinking for tourneys where you have a set amount you can lose. And by the way never play onli
