  1. What he means is that no one runs any hotter than anyone else over a large enough sample. Luck evens out etc...
  2. Especially with a 1/3 blind structure.
  3. Seriously, what are they?
  4. My whole issue in all of this came from your preflop play. Your play in the hand was 100% fine, stop arguing things that I'm not arguing about. Anyway, I'm over it. Good luck getting to $1000 and I sincerely mean that.
  5. First bolded partThese two senarios are what happens so much of the time:You raise AA 2.5x from the button and big blind calls with 78s, flops nothing and folds on the flop. You raise AA 3x from the button and big blind calls with 78s, flops noting and folds on the flop.Which play gets max value over 10k hands?Second bolded part:SO RAISE YOUR STANDARD RAISE! Is this really hard to understand?By your logic, just call the bb when you have AA so everyone calls and you trap everyone lolololol111!!111oneThird bolded part:What the hell does this mean... seriously? 3 bet? Do you even know what you're
  6. When you're making an 'obvious steal' you do everything to make it NOT look like an 'obvious steal', am I right? Just get value for your hand and raise the 3bb. He's going to call here with 78s for either sized raise, so stop thinking your outplaying him by raising 2.5bb's. Also, it's super standard for someone to miss a draw and shove the river. Also, the next time this happens and villian shows up with 23o your post is going to be "OMG how can this fish call my pfr with 23o ". Think about it.
  7. Either fold to his 4 bet or shove. Calling leaves you in tricky spots here and you may be laying down the best hand.
  8. I have never seen this typed out before. Its hilarious lol.
  9. This isnt really an issue in cash games. Just raise your normal 3bb amount like you would any other hand.
  10. Think about it like this. If we shove we either A) want him to fold better, or B) call with worse. If villian will call with AK/AQ and fold JJ+ then a shove is fine. Except he wont, so a shove is terrible.
  11. Makes sense to me. Also something to consider if the button is donkish he's going to draw to the K of diamonds for two more on the turn once he's already called once.
  12. 3 bet the turn, and if he caps and donks the river just call down. What was your motivation for flatting the turn and raising the river? You'd put in the same amount of bets if he flatted the 3b and you bet the river, knowing 100% that he doesnt have a boat.
  13. How is it a 'trap' when you donk/shove the flop? The reason this hand is hard to play OOP without the initiatiave is because there is so many flops that you hate and will have to end up laying down the best hand a fair amount of the time when whatever he raises you with preflop doesnt connect and he fires one or two barrells.
  14. Open limping is bad. You didn't really 'trap' him, you donked a set and got him to shove AA, pretty standard.
  15. Small ball is mainly for deep stack long level tournaments. Low buy in single table sit n goes dont really fit that description.
  16. They will catch their draws exactly the percentage they're soposed to. Charge them max and profit.
  17. Lol these look fun, I'll probably play at least two of them.
  18. When you get sick of going broke every other week you'll overcome it yourself.
  19. You really just gotta zig when everyones zagging imo.
  20. No. But I want to get off trying to OWN the thread anyway.
