  1. My friend has a very large cashout pending from FCP and he is having a lot of problems with it. Is there any reason a 10,000 + cash out will take longer? His account has been frozen for absolutely no reason and his money has been locked up for more than 10 days. What is the possible holdup?
  2. This has been my experience with shirts and things like that as well. I just didn't know if it was different for something like an ipod.
  3. I just ordered an ipod from Stars. It says it will take 4-6 weeks to ship. Is this a good ballpark for how long it will take or will it be quicker? Thanks in advance.
  4. So I just downloaded a stud/8 odds calculator and after running A48 against the likely holdings of my opponents in this spot and it actually fairs pretty well. It has plenty of equity on its own merit, and when you factor in the fact that I can get in wonderful freerolling opportunities on later streets I think I am fine with playing this hand. I'm pretty sure super system 2 says that an ace and two babies is usually a playable hand, though it does say to use caution when you've got the 8. Certainly you have to catch good right away to continue with the hand and be willing to dump the hand

  6. Fair enough. I will dig into my hand history to give you the details. Some things I remember offhand: I was the only player to catch good on 4th street. I think it was 4 or 5 handed at that point. I bet as the only player with 4 to a low. I was called in only one spot. I made my 8 on 5th street and was freerolling from there, so I kept betting. I very much doubt that I was the first player in. In those cases I usually complete the bring in.I had not had much of a history with this player. After the hand I watched him play. I guess you'll have to trust me on this, but believe me when

  8. A couple days ago I asked this very question in the FCP poker room chat. We ended up starting a table that filled up pretty quickly. It seems that there are a bunch of people that would play if they saw the game going. I am certainly one of those players.

  10. Thanks aseem. I think it is possible that previous bouts with variance have made me pull back on some edges I pushed previously. Not quite weak/tight, but maybe a tendency in that direction.
  11. I just dug up this post trying to figure some things out about my own risk of ruin. First of all it's an excellent link. Thanks for posting it in the first place. Here's my question:The ranges for typical standard deviations you guys mentioned were 15-20. Pokertracker shows my SD to be 13 BB/100 after about 30,000 hands.Does this mean I could be playing too conservatively? Or is it more a product of the type of games I'm playing in? Does it even matter at all? I'm just curious. Thanks in advance if you decide to respond.

  13. Thanks a lot. I appreciate the advice and the link. PFR% is good too. With time, it will probably increase a little bit, but don't force itInteresting that you say that. Earlier that % was a bit higher and I was having more success. Could certainly just be that I was getting more raising hands/situations. Maybe not. Remember, you want to maximize your time against the weaker players and minimize it agianst the stronger playersI think this is definitely something I could work on. I certainly have used pokertracker to play each opponent accordingly, but I probably don't actively attack th
