  1. Praz Bansi Eliminated in 3rd Place (£360,887)Praz Bansi shoved from the button and Daniel Negreanu called from the small blind. Simple as that.It wasn't looking good for our short stack.Bansi: {Q-Hearts} {2-Hearts}Negreanu: {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}Rail: "DOOOOOOOOOCE!!!"Flop: {4-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {4-Clubs}Rail: "Oof"Turn: {J-Spades}Rail: "Ooh"River: {6-Diamonds}A quick "Awww" from the crowd soon turned into a standing ovation as we lost Mr. Bansi in third place. He returned to the table to hand his few remaining stacks of chips over to Negreanu, and with his exit, we are heads up.
  2. Like Godzilla v Rodan, The Chip Giants Go To War; Negreanu VictoriousThe big chip stacks aren't afraid to play each other at this point, and this hand which tilted the lead firmly back to Negreanu is a case in point.Praz Bansi limped on the small blind, then called bb Negreanu's raise to 150k.On the {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {3-Spades} flop Bansi check-called a bet from Negreanu. The turn: {A-Spades} Now Bansi checked, but then raised when Negreanu bet 180k to 450k. After a brief think, Negreanu made the call. The river: {Q-Clubs} Bansi had a look over at Negreanu's stack, down at this point to th
  3. latest chip countsDaniel Negreanu 5655000 Praz Bansi 2495000 Barry Shulman 1885000
  4. Going Crazy with the LadiesJason Mercier raised under the gun, and Praz Bansi reraised from the button. The next logical step -- Daniel Negreanu four-bet out of the small blind. But there the chain was interrupted -- Negreanu's four-bet had been all in and Shulman swiftly passed. Mercier and Bansi passed too, and Negreanu showed them pocket queens. He's back in the lead, and the stacks seem to be unevening themselves a little..
  5. 90 minute dinner break perfect timing to go watch the celtic football(soccer) game. come on vienna
  6. Markus Ristola Eliminated in 5th Place (£200,367)Daniel Negreanu opened for 100,000 under the gun and everyone folded, except for Markus Ristola who went all in from the big blind. Some gentle dwelling from Negreanu...And a call! Again! What's going on here? Monsieur Negreanu, weeth all thees action you are spoiling us!Ristola: {K-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}Negreanu: a rather surprising call with {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs}Flop: {8-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {6-Spades}Turn: {K-Spades} to put Ristola in a fine position to double up. "Ace!" requested a pro-Negreanu railer feebly.Duly, river: {A-Hearts}ROAAAAARRRRR!
  7. its still only 7.30pm uk time so could have a long sweat ahead
  8. it was after the J high flop that the snap call was made
  9. Mercier Beginning to Look Just Slightly FlusteredDaniel Negreanu opened for 100,000 and Barry Shulman called from the small blind. Over to Jason Mercier in the big blind, and he reraised to 395,000. Negreanu called, Shulman passed, and they saw a flop. The flop came down {2-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} and Mercier checked. Negreanu bet 350,000, and Mercier passed. Negreanu showed him the {10-Diamonds} for his efforts.
  10. Praz Bansi All In Again....Negreanu's Called...And you know what that's tended to mean on this final table! Tension so thick you could almost see it like heat shimmer was surrounding Bansi as he tortured himself over a threeway {6-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {J-Clubs} flop. Negreanu had bet and he was counting down his stack, in between shaking his head like he had something horrible stuck to it. This thinking period amounted to about five minutes, but ended with his suddenly pushing his stack in, and Negreanu snapcalling. There was some shrugging, and reluctance on both sides to show, but eventually
  11. Chris Bjorin Eliminated in 6th Place (£150,267)This has really been the level to consolidate the many's chips in the hands of the few. And just now Daniel Negreanu picked up Chris Bjorin's stack after an all-in-preflop call.Negreanu's {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} was comfortably pipping Bjorin's {A-Spades} {J-Hearts} .Bjorin stood up as the flop came down an audience-pleasing, but not really state-changing {10-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} ...the turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river the {9-Clubs} so we've lost yet another player to the voracious Level 25!
