The guy leading the tourney was pushing over everybody and I chose the wrong time to push back with AQ. Over all I feel like I played well. It was definitely fun winning money in one of these though.

Oh well, I finished in 5th place for 977.00. Can't complain, I only bought in for the original 11 dollars. Thanks for all the well wishes

Thanks for the support all. It paid 549.00 for first. And no, I didn't really have a strategy other than playing strong starting hands and not getting heavily involved in early pots with less than the nuts. I only started playing PLO about 3 months ago and am still learning all the nuances of the game. Had some very crazy action at times on the tables though and it amazed me how poorly some people played. Hopefully I can build on this win and keep learning and do well at the tables. Again thanks for all of the support.

I don't post a lot on here but I just had to share my first big win. I just won a MTT 10+1 PLO tounament on PokerStars. It wasn't a huge some of money but I'm happy with it.

Actually, Amarillo Slim has been in town for a few weeks now and does come to the poker room pretty frequently. Cherokee is 21 and over but Creek is only 18 for now. They have 30 tables at Cherokee and it is a nice facility. Didn't know Johnny Hale was in town but I saw Slim last Saturday morning. Funny thing about the big guys though.... they don't tip when they win a pot.

...... I am a losing poker player. I have never claimed that I win on a consistent basis or that I'm unlucky or anything like that. I am currently a losing player, a donator if you will. I am doing the best that I can to change that scenario but I'm not there yet. I have been reading all of these posts about all of the winning players here on the forum so I figured I would post as one of the donators that all of these winners are making their money from. I usually reload my online account once a week and may win some for a while but eventually I get to cocky and play above my bankroll. I

I respect the heck out of oolong. Guess that's why I have done well in these tourneys.

Did what I could. Took the only PP I saw the entire 2 hours all-in with a very short stack and had 3 callers. Hit my set on the flop, lost to an overset. Worst 2 hours of cards I have ever seen. My pocket 5's lost to 7's. Finished 139th. Good luck to all that are still in.And by the way...... their software sucks.

It was fun. Just wish I could have finished stonger down the stretch. Caught a couple of beats at the end.
