It's not really a Bar-league. It starts in a select number of bars. there will 6 tournamants to be played, with ranking. at the end of those six games, the top 8 at your location go on to the regional final. again 4 tournaments, and then the top 6 end up in de national Final for top score. there's no buy in ( weird ) and no fee's , no money, no cars, nothing.. Not even a deal at the final table. You can't trade nothing, for nothing..you play for Honor and a title !! ..So what's ur advice?i do need the practice, and I thought this might help.It looks amateuristic enough for me to play..

Agreed,Why only the hard work, but none of the joy.Daniel has done pretty good for him self allready, and he will achieve much more.But you still need to enjoy it a bit. So if he wants to go, and have a beer with a few mates, why not?He didn't beat himself up about it, why should we?

I think you can make all the fun you want, as long as you keep your tells to yourself.Don't answer questions, that can reveal anything about your play.But why wouldn't you have a bit of a laugh during those hours. You can sit at one table with 9 guy's for 8 hours, nobody can be quiet for that long.At Least, I Can't.I don't see the crime in talking and laughing, as long as everyone realizes it's still a sport,about winning. Be yourself, but be closed. don't tell anything about cards, strategy's or winnings.They could pick it up as a tell.

Since you established a tight image throughout the game,you can seriously consider Raising to 10K.If they're good players, they would have picked up the fact that you only raise with monsterhandsAA and KK's .. So why would they think now, you have something else.If your 10K raise get's called by one of them, you know you're ****ed,and fold.by Raising you think outside the box that they put you in, and be a bigger surprise.You don't give away anything and, still get the chips.So I say.. Raise to 10K.

I think that is what makes Daniel a top player.When you play at the table, you leave your personal life at the door. Poker is businessand no matter what happens in your life, you can't let it affect your play at the table.You need to stay focused on the cards, and the people in the game, otherwise you could lose a lotmore then ( in this case ) your marriage.If Daniel wasn't already considered to be A top player, he damn well should be now.Cause He's got the skills to leave his personal life out, and still win a few games.A divorce can be a horrible thing, I didn't get any details, and I don't
