  1. he might interpret my check on the turn as a sign of weakness (put me on AK or something like that that). But yeah, as i said i played it pretty badly. When im card dead, i just run out of patience pretty quickly and start doing stupid things. (lost 300$ on bluffs yesterday playing 1-2 live) oh well hope i can get better.
  2. lots of pocket pairs and ace high hands are gonna call my raise on the turn (he's getting >6-1 on a call)i don't expect him to have a flush draw very often here (i think he would've raised that flop). So, im either crushing or drawing thin. By checking i'm inducing a bluff some of the time.(like in this case)
  3. yea i know i played the hand pretty badly but i used to play a lot of HU (where q8 is the nuts lol)It's hard to play like a nit sometimes .

  5. you could be right but it's still a bad spot in general against such a short stack. (i prolly would like it more if you had a hand like 109 or 87 which has a bit more equity preflop)EDIT:if you want some numbers, you can use this site http://www.fpppro.com/fold-equity-calculator.php

  12. waiting eagerly for positive results!
  13. Meh, I tend to call 3bets with strong hands also when I play live (for similar reasons). People play pretty passively and get scared of 4bets, but once they hit something, they become calling stations. I don't really do it online because the dynamics are different and i don't really play ring games, but I don't think it's horrible. It's all about table dynamics, I guess.
