  1. That's my favorite game, but I can play 2/4 online and multitable. Can't see any advantage playing live with a $2 max bet and less hands dealt.
  2. Hahahaha, seriously how do you top that? Phil or Matusow would have to butt rape Doyle Brunson at a televised final table and then slit his throat.
  3. Sheiky better watch his back, payback's a beeetch.
  4. Can you explain sng structures in Florida? How do they get around that whole $2 thing, and are there differnt state laws for tourneys and sngs?
  5. But this is such great ammo to use if the guy starts trash talking you at the table. And usually when you kill an old lady you become a little more humble. That's why Dan Harrington is such a class act. (Ok, I don't think Dan killed any old ladies, but thought it would make for a funny sentence)
  6. I just moved to Florida a few months ago, and haven't even bothered going to any cardrooms because I thought there was a $2 max bet in the state of Florida. How are you making thousands?
  7. Yeah, same guy. Guess he's a vegas local who owns a chain of headshops and tattoo shops, how he got his bankroll to begin with, and some of the guys at 2+2 were talking about his "driving incident".
  8. he really is a jerkJuly 09, 1999One of the two deaths attributed to the storm was the result of an auto accident just after 11 a.m., when a car hydroplaned in the northwest part of the valley.A Mercedes, driven by Las Vegan Shahram Sheikhan, 29, was traveling at speeds too fast for the slick road conditions on Buffalo Drive just north of Charleston Boulevard, Metro Police said. The Mercedes slid across the raised center median of southbound Buffalo and struck a Lincoln traveling in the northbound lanes, police said. The female passenger, 91-year-old Dorathy Ohriner of Las Vegas, died at the scen
  9. I should ask myself why I went all in on a paired board after being dealt only one card and being called. Stupid old TJ Cloutier stories.
  10. According to this they have a small casino.link
  11. Hey buddy, I hate suckouts too. But if you're ever gonna spend any serious time playing poker you really need to expect suckouts, and the better you are the more suckouts you're gonna be up against because you'll usually be ahead in the first place. Also, with your attitude you should probably stay away from Omaha hi lo, lord knows what you'd do after the third time someone's straight flush beat your quads.
  12. My buddy says that at this game there are routine all ins with 10s and better, and 5xBB seems to be the average preflop raise, so I'm thinking tight is right unless I can cheaply come in from late position with a wider range of hands.
  13. A buddy just invited me to a NL game tonight where the blinds are .50/1.00, and I believe online that would put you at $100 max, but there's no max at this game. I'm not very good at NL Hold 'Em, so I'm just gonna be playing with pocket money, something like $80. Is this too low for this game? I don't expect to do so well, but I've read a few NL books, and read some strategy here and at 2+2, any advice on how to play a stack like this and/or if it's enough for this game?
  14. It might be a little old fashioned, but generally speaking it's very rude to be all in against an opponet and then ask your opponet to muck his cards instead of seeing what the flop, turn, and river bring.
  15. Pretty easy, just download a client like bitcomet so ya can download the torrent in the first place, and then you can just play it with realplayer or windows media or whatever. Worst case you have to download a 30 second patch or something for your media player.
  16. Yeah, this guy should have it up by tonight. This guy's like a poker saint, and always has the latest wpt, hsp, and headsup stuff available.poker vids
  17. Sheik's a whiny goofball beeeotch, and has no manners, but he kinda had me laughing during the headsup match with Doyle today. They both get all their money in preflop, Sheik has AQ, Doyle has AJ. Before the flop even comes out, Sheik tells Doyle"Hey man, just muck, lose with some grace, you don't wanna suckout. Do the right thing Doyle, just muck."I guess it made me laugh just because, who the **** talks to Doyle Brunson like that? It's soooo over the top. Shoot me.
  18. During my first tournaments, convincing myself that my low pocket pairs were going up against Ax and always calling all ins with them. Playing Ax suited regardless of the raise.
  19. Reminds me of a chapter in Matt Matross' book where he just starts playing like **** for like 6 months. Eventually he gives some hand histories to his buddy, and buddy's like, "What the **** are you doing Matt? You're playing like ****.". He had had so much success that he started playing slightly poorer starting hands thinking his superior post flop play would make him a favorite, but in the end decided you can only sink so low in your hand requirements, and when to try to push small edges.
  20. I remember when I thought bankroll management was having enough for one full buy in. When you doubled up you could move up in limits! Good times, good times.
  21. All $60 of it? Oh no! That's like a steak dinner, the guy had some pocket change to play around with, no big deal. Not like he put his whole roll on the line or anything.
  22. I wish more players would be as sophisticated as you guys and fold KK. Would make tournaments alot easier for me.
