Both the areas around the Rock and Derby arent the best, but i think they have some regular motel type places. Maybe a holiday inn or something. I dont know how much you know about the areas, but Hardrock is like 10-15 from downtown tampa so you can cab it anywhere around there. I would definitely look into the hotels around them tho, dont think there is too many options. Let me know what you decided to do and GL if you play em. I'll prolly end up trying to sat into that Derby one and if not just hang out and see some buddies who are playing. take care--Rizzo

Im thinking about doing the Derby lane one. I saw they have some super sats too which i might give a try. They dont give any dates on the Sup Sats, but i assume they run daily. I'm from like 30 mins from hardrock and derby so might trek home for these. Let me know if you hear anymore info about these.

Don't know if you can wager it, im sure someone there will bet you on it. I think you just pay a fee and then get free pitchers for beer pong. It was fun, I did that for a few hours...-rizzoP.S....they have a beer pong tourney, in vegas, every year if you are that good.

Bellagio is pretty solid...I may be wrong, but i think you have to have a $200 wager for free drinks.Bally's sportsbook is pretty nice for being relatively dead, or atleast when i was there 2 months ago. Its downstairs in bally's and was nice/big. Go there if the others are full. Have fun-rizzo

I think the poker room softness is based on what games you are playing. I played mostly 1/2 2/5NL and enjoyed Bellagio, Ventian, and Planet Hollywood. I dunno if those games are the softest, but bellagio was pretty solid and always busy, venitian was a reallll nice room, and planet hollywood was a great drinking/messing around room.My other to do's: Drink at O'sheas (and anywhere else), bet sports, hit the Rhino and Sapphire, have fun.GL--rizzo
